After a little over an hour's boat ride I disembarked on Nusa Lembongan island. Sand fine and white, turquoise water worthy of the most successfully done "photoshop" and traditional houses.
You could even see some hotels, whose architecture makes you think of a boat's hull, buried in the vegetation higher up.
The ride in a small boat in the heart of the mangrove swamp is relaxing, here the quiet prevails. The roots form sharp peaks sticking out above the water level with difficulty. At the end of the ride, the small boat passes right by the sea and you discover a mangrove with bright red branches.
However, once you decide to go beyond the tourist areas, you notice that pollution is a big problem on the coast and in the forest of this charming island, a relaxing stop on a trip to Bali.
