Celuk is a village located between Denpasar and Ubud in Bali. The village is considered as the centre of gold- and silver-smithery on the island.

My suggestion:
If you like gold and silver jewellery and you want to take a souvenir home from Bali, go to Celuk, there's a strong possibility that you'll find something there to make you happy.
My review

Very honestly, the village of Celukwas clearly not one of my favourite places in Bali. As I was rather attracted by the island's amazing landscapes, I didn't stay forever in Celuk. The village, known for its goldsmith's and silversmith's trade, specialises in the creation of jewellery of all types in gold and silver. There are a large number of creative workshops, galleries and boutiques, and it seems that everybody here makes a profession out of it. A large amount of craftspeople offer to make jewellery on command and can also create the majority of your ideas.

If, during your trip to Indonesia, you want to give yourself a golden souvenir, this is the place. But besides this specialised work in precious metals, Celuk doesn't have any other particular attractions and doesn't necessitate a long stay.
