A paradise of white sand and crystal-clear water, hidden in the middle of Indonesia: that's my definition of the Togian Islands.
My suggestion:
Although it's one of the most underestimated places in Indonesia, to go to the island you'll need more than one day, so forget it if you don't have much time.
My review
For those who love parties and crowds, don't read any further. The Togian Islands aren't for you! In this K-shaped archipelago, there are numerous islands where you can stay, my preference being Poyalisa. Forget your mobile phone on this island, as you won"t have a signal or a way to recharge your phone.
But without a doubt, the thing that pleased me the most on the Togian Islands was exploring their seabeds. A tip for all those who don't dive: the visibility is so good that it's possible to see the corals and fish from the surface with just a mask. Don't miss out on discovering them right away!
