Pura Goa Lawah, near Padang Bai, is famous for its cave full of bats.

My suggestion:
Padang Bai is close and a good place to visit if you want to dive or go to the Gili Islands.
My review

You are never going to be alone if you visit Pura Goa Lawah, but if you are in the area you could have a look. It's true that the temple is small and busy. And that the souvenir sellers are a bit insistent, which wasn't enjoyable...

The original but plain temple faces the sea and locals often pray here. The cave is full of bats whose droppings mean it doesn't smell very pleasant.

If you happen to be in the area during a religious ceremony it's worth a look, but try not to get too close and upset the worshippers.

As it's one of Bali's tourist attractions there are places to eat cheaply.

Did you know that it is one of Bali's 9 Directional temples which are supposed to protect the island?
