Located in the Komodo archipelago, this attractive beach bears this name because of the microscopic coral debris that lightly colours the sand. Even if I had hoped for a much darker shade of pink, I appreciated the succession of colours between the dry earth in the background, the white sand so shiny in the sun and then (very) slightly tinted pink before ending in water with a double tint.
After an hour of relaxation in the hot sand (do not forget the sun screen, as there is very little shaded area), I headed for the sea and its natural aquarium. About ten metres from the shore, the shallow waters abound in brightly coloured coral and fish. A spot accessible to everyone with a mask and snorkel, by which I was very pleasantly surprised.
Thus, whatever the nature of your stay in Indonesia It is difficult not to appreciate Pink Beach , even if you can be a bit disappointed on account of its misleadingly attractive name.
