Leave the point fairly quickly and head towards the interior of the island - the atmosphere is calmer and more authentic. You can rent a house in the middle of a rice paddy for a reasonable price.
You could rent bicycles and go off together for the day. You can explore the island's wonderful landscapes, the sea, the rice paddies and Hindu temples, and its friendly inhabitants.

At Talumben, one of the island's best known dive sites, you can visit the wreck of the Liberty, torpedoed near the bank in 1942. Nowadays, it has been reclaimed by nature and all its colours. It's a unique, magical moment for two under the Balinese water.
