Indonesia

Bali is the place for a successful honeymoon in Indonesia.

Bali is an incredible place for the perfect honeymoon. During your journey round Indonesia you'll succumb to its charms and it will be a time that you will never forget.

The charm of Bali

Yes, Bali has everything you are looking for, beaches, culture, nature, and more. So I suggest you go for a trip around the island to celebrate your love and happiness.

Leave the point fairly quickly and head towards the interior of the island - the atmosphere is calmer and more authentic. You can rent a house in the middle of a rice paddy for a reasonable price.

Some things for lovers to do together

You could rent bicycles and go off together for the day. You can explore the island's wonderful landscapes, the sea, the rice paddies and Hindu temples, and its friendly inhabitants.

Ubud is the first place you should go to. It is Bali's cultural centre. It is impossible to describe its charm - you have to experience it. A dinner show, with beautifully made up dancers in magnificent costumes, introducing you to the spirituality of their religious beliefs through their dances, is a great way to learn more about local culture. Ubud is also a good place to explore natural wellness treatments, like massages or spas. What could be nicer during your honeymoon than being pampered together?

Before you leave there is one other challenge you could try. You can go skin diving in Bali, where the waters are full of treasure! At Talumben, one of the island's best known dive sites, you can visit the wreck of the Liberty, torpedoed near the bank in 1942. Nowadays, it has been reclaimed by nature and all its colours. It's a unique, magical moment for two under the Balinese water.
