1st day in Rejkyavik. Luckily in sunshine. Plenty to see. Hotel F*** B*** looked tired, breakfast room dark and cramped but staff were lovely and helpful and the room spacious and comfy with nice views. 2nd day Golden Circle. A handout would habe helped with names and background. So much of interest. Coach loads of tourista always disappointing but we knew and we are tourist too! Stops too brief. 3rd day afternoon lava tour. I couldnt go (youngest ill) but older 2 said it was ok. Felt a bit toiristy gimiky? Evening food tour by foor around d Rejkyavik. Excellent. Interesting guide, food delicious. Vege in party accomodatee. 4th day. 11 hour trip toouth for ice caves. Could have built in more time at Vik for lunch at nice cafe and time.on beach there. Ice caves fasinating buy different to those shown on the brochure. Stop to collect someone from glacier walk. Guide could have told us a 5 minute walk would give wonderful views of the glacier. Luckily I found it but those who didnt know.and styaied on bus really missed out. Airpot transfers v good. Could have done with another day in Rej to see more museums ans enjoy cafe scene. Also another visit to hot spring - just dont have them in uk! Have rec to friends local agent v helpful. Will return to see more. Airport lovely.
Best parts:
Interesting info on Iceland from friendly guides as they drove us to sites. Being guided took the preasure off. Very beautiful sights we saw. Also food we had was really good quality
Worst parts:
The proliforation of tourist tat shops in Rejkyavik. Not knowing before the tour exactly what the day had in store (1 hour drive, coffee break, lunch around... with a selection of good cafe's/to be bpught from.supermarkwt, etc). On most tours the guides did not give a summary of the day ahead. Did not enjoy the super jeep - should habe been warned to expect bumpy offroad etc. A sheet of basic info especially names of waterfalls, etc. Hard to say and remember. A map?

Unfortunately we weren't able to see the northern lights, but the Golden circle (including secret lagoon) tour, south coast tour, Geysirs, walk in a glacier, waterfalls, food, and plenty of weather made for a very good holiday. Everybody we met was very friendly and we never felt out of place.
Best parts:
There were many highlights, the ones that really stand out are: - time spent in the secret lagoon. - the food tour - the journey to the ice cave in the all terrain vehicle. Overall I found the Icelandic guides really well informed, able to talk about many aspects of Icelandic culture from the education system, trolls and tectonic plates.
Worst parts:
There was a lot of travelling in minibuses and although the guides were good I would liked to have spent much longer at each attraction. I am a keen photographer and found that we had inadequate time to look not just for the obvious but the unusual (which is the key to turning a good photograph into a great one).

Destination was Iceland and toured the south coast from Reykjavík. Accomodation was good and driving relatively easy despite wintry conditions. We packed a lot into 6days but had a great time.

Loved the beautiful scenery, very friendly people and seeing the northern lights.

Our travel agent did a wonderfull Job of planning all our excurions giving us enough free time to explore on our own.
Best parts:
The New Years Eve party fire works were Awesome
Worst parts:
The vendor did a very poor job on timley service for food and drinks. Under staffed waiters, only one bardenter, and missed the start of the bonefire. This can really be successful with the right vendor.

Iceland is still my dream destination. I feel such an affinity for the culture, people, and the land. i did a lot of the tourist destinations. Our adventure tour group was a great compnay. If you can Olafur (Ollie he looks like Santa Claus) you will be guaranteed a great trip. The South coast is breathtaking. I could have stood on the Black beach for hours feeling the strangth of the North Atlantic. Ice cave was unreal, our guide sang in the new chapel a lullaby about never leaving your children behind. It was so beautifu;, real, and emotional. I will never forget it. Eating out was bliss I particularly loved the Reykjavik Kitchen. The chef is so talented, presentation, and service were top notch. The Golden Circle was a really enjoyable tour, I enjoyed Strokkur. My head is filled with so many memories and images, that this vacation iwill keep me going for a long time. Thank You Iceland Patrizia at evaneos and all the kind people I met.
Best parts:
It was wonderful start to finish. Blue Lagoon was amazing, I truly did not know what to expect. My hotel was clean, and perfectly located. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I never got jetlag, I come from Vancouver BC, CANADA. So many memorable moments. Riding the horses, going into the ice cave, attending Elf school....
Worst parts:
I need to come back in the summer. and do everything agaiin and maybe drive around in my own car. The landscape was so stark, beautiful, haunting I need to come back. (that is the worst part)

I loved everything about my trip. I explored Reykjavik, rode an Icelandic horse in the lava fields, went into a man-made tunnel through a glacier, saw waterfalls, the glacier lagoon, and went ice-caving. The Perlan Museum was superb as well.
Best parts:
Gunnar, our local agent, did such an excellent job working with me to customize an amazing and wonderful experience. The guides were all great - they all told interesting facts and stories about the places we were visiting and about Iceland in general. I had such a memorable time!
Worst parts:
The Northern Lights didn't make an appearance for me. I guess I will have to go back and try to see them again.

Snowmobiling on the volcanic glacier and exploring the ice caves were our favourite activities, but we enjoyed them all! Horseback riding, glacier hiking, black sand beaches, waterfalls, Blue and Secret lagoons...Iceland was truly breathtaking and we got the very best of it.
Best parts:
Our company trip to Iceland was a massive success thanks to our wonderful travel agent Patrizia. She was so knowledgable about the country and had great suggestions for us, and was able to make alternate arrangements for us when we had requests for changes. She was always very quick to respond to my many messages and questions. From the moment we arrived in Iceland, everything was flawless - our accommodations were perfect, our activities were mind blowing and our wonderful driver/guide (Thruster! The man, the legend) made our trip so special. It was so nice to arrive to Iceland and have absolutely everything arranged for us - everything was on time and truly world-class.
Worst parts:
NOTHING! It was the greatest trip of our lives :)

I loved every moment of my trip: Blue Lagoon, Northern Lights, food walk, seeing waterfalls/Golden Circle, the ice caves, snorkeling, the food, and the people of Iceland. I can't wait to come back! Also, Gunnar Thor Palsson did a great job putting together my trip.
Best parts:
Everything...Blue Lagoon was a great way to start my trip. Then I attempted to see Northern Lights. Touring an ice cave and snorkeling in Silfra were fantastic due to their natural beauty, and the tour guides were outstanding. The Reykjavik Food Walk was a great afternoon as well.
Worst parts:
We had 2 solid days of rain, but that's out of everyone's control.

Explored the entire south coast of Iceland in 6 days. Visited all the waterfalls, glaciers and hot springs. Great scenery and hiking trails. My favorite parts were the ice caving and snowmobiling ON a volcano. Also, walking between the continental plates was incredibly impressive! Best trip ever!
Best parts:
The itinerary that Gunnar set up for my trip to Iceland was perfect! Very organized and easy to understand and the perfect route. With his help, I had the best trip of my life!
Worst parts:
The only hiccup we had was the rental car. I thought it was Going to be a 4 x 4 but the car reserved wasn’t so I upgraded at that moment.

Came to Iceland to hopefully see the Aurora, unfortunately the weather and the Aurora did not cooperate. Back up plans were to visit as much of the city as possible. Visited all or most of the tourist spots in Reykjavik. It was a short trip of only 3 days, so I will plan better for the next trip.
Best parts:
Visiting Reykjavik for the first time (outside the airport). Friendliness of the people. Visiting the sites of the city.
Worst parts:
The weather, which is no one's fault and I always new that would be a risk, although I hoped it would be better.

As the planner, the trip started as a quest to see polar bear and morphed into see the aura of Iceland. The trip was across the entire southern coast and included very nice accommodations, snowmobiling, ice caving, Viking photo shoot, Blue Lagoon and excellent meals. Interesting that of all the hotels, Frost & Fire was by far the favorite. Also interestingly, The guys passed on the second visit to Blue Lagoon because it was so crowded. Thank you for an epic adventure
Best parts:
The best portion of the trip for me as the planner was working with Paolo! Paolo is amazingly attentive to needs, requests and details. He responded quickly with answers and input when asked. The trip didn't seem nearly as 'unknown' when dealing with his expertise and generous nature. He is truly the reason we were able to take this trip to the final stages as Paolo did an excellent job for me as the planner and my 78 year old husband and his son. We cannot thank Paolo enough for all of his efforts!
Worst parts:
We had one small 'hiccup' in the return of the rental vehicle with Enterprise. We were unable to make any progress with Enterprise, but Paolo resolved the issue in a very short time.

Iceland is amazing. Really enjoyed the Blue Lagoon over the Secret Lagoon. Really enjoyed the ice caves, unfortunately we were cancelled on our glacier walk and ice climbing due to weather. I'm really glad we rented our car and drove around ourselves instead of tour bus. We could did a lot more I think. Enjoyed all the walking also. We actually walked to see the Solheimasandur Plane Wreck. I'd go back to Iceland for sure, but this time in the Summer. It got icy around the waterfalls. We did see the Northern lights which was a 'bucket list' event.
Best parts:
Well planned out. Iceland has beautiful scenery. Loved the many waterfalls.
Worst parts:
The weather, very windy and cold...but knew it would be going in Winter
