Situated to the north of Guangdong Province, on the banks of Beijiang River, a Pearl River tributary, Yingde is famous for its distinctive Yingde Stone as well as it's delicious black tea!

My review

It's the home of black China tea - a favorite with British Royals - as well as being world famous for its rich, cultural heritage.

Apart from the town itself, the Yingde National Forest Park is well worth a tour. During spring, the countryside is blanketed with yellow, rapeseed flowers - a stunning sight. Don't miss seeing the Boajing Palace and its caves - a mystical, natural wonder!

Close to Yingde, you'll find the underground river of Xianqiao as well as the amazing Tianmen Valley.
