Yandi is a pretty village about 50km from Guilin, in Guangxi Province.

My suggestion:
Springtime hikes are particularly spectacular, when the rapeseed fields burst into flower.
My review

Considered by many to be the the prettiest part of Li River I can only suggest you check it out for yourself!

It has to be said its setting is stunning - a landscape that changes color with the seasons and a worthy detour. Yangdi is named after two hills that form the village backdrop and look like an upside down sheep.

If you like hiking, try the Yangdi to Xingping trail. It's 22km long, takes 5-6 hours and covers some of the best countryside along Li River. If you don't want to go by foot, you can take a cruise or hire an electric car for all, or part, of the way.
