My review
If you go to the Feilai Temple, about 10km or so from Deqin, you'll get one of the best views of the mountain. The site and its surroundings are a favorite with hikers, pilgrims and photography fans.
According to legend, the Feilai Temple was built by Sakyamuni Buddha, who flew over from Tibet. It's frequented by Tibetan pilgrims, who come to worship at the sacred Meili Snow Mountain. It's very popular, so you'll find festivals and Buddhist activities being held all year round .
The Deqin region is great for visitors looking for hiking trails and who are hoping to explore the Tibetain countryside.
