Li River (China)

The cruises you can take down the River Li are some of the province's most popular tourist excursions, and having now become something of a classic they are these days included in many tours. Don't be reluctant to go out on one of the local boats, especially the ones that depart from Yangshuo. They don't get as jam-packed and are better for exploring the more remote parts of the river.
