Did you know that Krakow is home to the second largest medieval square in Europe after St. Mark's Square in Venice? An impressive market takes place in Rynek Glowny, even today. Krakow, indeed all of Poland, is a good place to buy amber. In this same square, you'll find a permanent covered market where, today, tourists products are sold, with crafts goods and lots of silver jewellery set with amber. Beautiful discoveries at very low prices.
Beyond this large square, I really enjoyed a simple stroll in the city's streets. It's the chance to admire architectural works of art and taste Polish food. I remember that I wasn't disappointed by the food, even if I didn't particularly keep a good memory of it. On the other hand, the tea was excellent!
