Poland's number one seaside destination, the town of Sopotcombines the trendy and opulent with the traditional and has some beautiful beaches for visitors to enjoy.

My suggestion:
Sopot is one of the sporting and cultural capitals of Poland. A major jazz festival and a tennis tournament are held here each year, providing pleasure and entertainment for both locals and visitors alike.
My review

Sopot is quite a strange town, one I would find it difficult to place in a category. On the one hand, Sopot is the main place people come to be seen and show off in Poland, with its succession of casinos, villas, newly constructed all-glass buildings and all its sports cars and rich summer holidaymakers. On the other hand, however, Sopot also has a pretty town centre containing numerous wooden houses: a reminder of the time when the town was still just a small seaside fishing village. But Sopot is also a culturally important town, with many sophisticated cafes, various libraries, and with numerous cultural events taking place here throughout the year.

But what Sopot is really all about is its beautiful beach, where people of an astonishingly diverse range of backgrounds all come together in an ambiance of friendly, easy-going fun and relaxation, which makes the town a good place to come to if you want to sample the experience of a Central European coastal resort when visiting Poland, especially in summer, when the sun makes its appearance.
