One of Poland's oldest and historically most important places, Sandomierz is today a lovely little rural town with a charming centre.
My suggestion
One of the most unusual things you can do in Sandomierz is the guided tour (in Polish unfortunately) of the town centre's medieval tunnel network: a genuine subterranean labyrinth located tens of metres beneath the earth.
