We travelled from Oslo to Voss onto Bergen then Tromso. Our guide Stig in Oslo was very good company , fantastic facts and knowledge about Oslo. The ski resort in Voss is very accessible and the young people who work up there are super friendly and helpful. The restaurant is gorgeous too. Tromso was amazing , we got to see the Northern lights with an arranged mini bus trip by Evaneos. The dog sledding trip was Tromso’s highlight, we went to the Villmarkssenter , the crew were super fun especially Lauris our guide for the morning. The boat trip was very special too on board The Capella with Captain Jack. The hearty warming Norwegian salmon chowder made by Marta was the best.
Best parts:
We absolutely loved our trip to Norway, the best highlight was staying with Alan *******at Store ************* on the mountain side in Voss. His superb hospitality was second to none. He was out early clearing snow from the path to the hotel each morning, his breakfasts were amazing and locally produced cured meats from his farm were so delicious. We walked down to the Gondola each morning for our skiing all day we love to walk even in the snow. Although Alan provides a taxi bus he would tell us just to phone him if we needed help on our walk. In the evenings he would have a light bite ready for us in the bar and we looked forward to his friendly chats about life in Norway.
Worst parts:
We found Bergen a little uninteresting

I have always wanted to go to Norway and this trip allowed me and my four children to do some amazing activities and enjoy the amazing scenery as well as experience the Norwegian culture. The trip was carefully put together to allow us to travel from Oslo to Bergen by boat and train and stay at some beautiful places. It will certainly be a trip to remember and I would definitely go back to Norway
Best parts:
There were many positives to the trip. We loved the zipline at vathenalsen, Even though it initially looked scary, it was amazing with gorgeous views. We loved staying at vatnehallsen, which was in a beautiful spot and had amazing food and waffles. The via ferrata in Herdla was a highlight of the holiday too. We had a lovely time in Belastrand at the Balestrand hotel, which had amazing views to the fjords. Travelling by boat and train was also a highlight as we got to see some very scenic landscape. The vigeland park in Oslo was loved by the children. It was overall an amazing experience!
Worst parts:
We all loved our trip, however it was a little disappointing that our kayaking trip was cancelled by the local company. However, we instead go to do the glacier tour, which was interesting and enjoyable. We also didn’t like our first night in Oslo as we were given a room where it was too hot. We happened to have very warm and dry weather, which was unusual in Norway. I couldn’t complain about this though. It is always nice to enjoy the fjords in the sun!

The entire trip was a blast, the paddling was somewhat difficult but manageable, and it get great to get all that exercise everyday. The camping was great, amazing spots with killer views and most of the locations looked straight out of a fairy tale. I learned a lot about Norway and the history and culture while being dazzled with the most breathtaking views imaginable!
Best parts:
The scenery was breathtaking, you could never imagine a more beautiful part of the world and seeing it from a kayak made it even more dramatic. Visiting local points of history, the abandoned farms, was fascinating as well.
Worst parts:
There was nothing even remotely bad about the trip.

The Local Travel Agency was wonderful in how they planned this trip for my group. Everyone (including myself) thought this trip exceeded every expectation we had.
Best parts:
Norway was one of the most beautiful Country's we have visited. Add to that how nice we were treated by Norwegian it made for a perfect trip. We loved the historic Hotels and Inns we stayed at and the meals were awesome.
Worst parts:
None - Except for the congestion and number of people in Oslo.

We loved the fjord area. Loved the amount of time spent in cities, it was perfect amount of time. Loved 29/2 in aurland and private hike we took. Also liked suggestions in Loen for Skylift and glacier. Walking tours in cities were great.
Best parts:
Loved suggestions made by Anne as to local things to do and hikes in each area. Liked hotels she suggested. Ferry and train rides were awesome

Norway is beautiful. We loved that our trip included many different areas in the country but was mostly focused on the natural beauty of the country. Our favorite area was Loen, where the mountains were fantastic due to the glaciers and dramatic waterfalls. We also enjoyed the coast and hiking up a mountain overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. It was unlike any other hike we've ever done. Finally, we greatly enjoyed kayaking around the coastal island where we stayed.
Best parts:
The hikes advised by our travel agent. The accommodations, especially at Sande Camping near Loen.
Worst parts:
The stay at Stalheim Hotel was too long. There were not enough interesting activities in this area to spend 3 days here. The time would have been much better spent in the Loen area, which we loved.

As I mentioned the two major features of Bergen were highlights. The train to Flom was fun. The countryside is beautiful and mesmerizing as are the vistas. the fjord cruise was lovely. the stop at the cider farm was informative and worthwhile. We made two trips to the city hall in Oslo.I went by myself to the Vegland ? sculpture garden and would encourage your guides to strongly recommend that your clients see this. The park is beautiful, the sculptures extraordinary and it is a quick trip on the number twelve tram
Best parts:
Scenery was fabulous. Annette our guide was excellent and Christina our driver was wonderful. Our guide in Oslo was superb as well. the hotels selected by Norway adventures were perfect for our group. I would include the peace center in any tour in the future and skip the fortress which is not of interest to the modern traveler. I would also strongly recommend that your clients be told that the funicular in Bergen is a must as is the wooden 'village' in the center of town
Worst parts:
the first day on a bus was tedious and far too long. You should recall I was very specific about this and I consider this a serious failure on your part.the lunches were awful and half of our group could not eat them. I would strongly suggest simple sandwiches or some type of smorgasbord. This alone would discourage our group from using you again. A small, but annoying point was the self use laundry at Fleishe'rs. the drier did not work properly and my son spent about $35.00 in trying to get his clothes dry. when he complained he was told that he needed to come back and speak to a manager. No manager was available by the time we left. This is a small point, but this should never happen at a good hotel, and certainly one that has such a distinguished history.

See above - all of it! (with the partial exception of Hurtigruten)
Best parts:
Hotel selection was very good, we really enjoyed them. Interesting, and beautiful route to drive (about the right distance each day), and good tips for things to look at
Worst parts:
The only thing we would probably have done differently with the benefit of hindsight is the Hurtigruten ... we realised even just in the 2 nights on the ship that we are very much not 'cruise ship people' ... and we were about 30+ yrs younger than everyone else...better we learnt this way than on a two week cruise! ;-) Also, in terms of 'seeing the fjords from the water', the ferry to Gudvangen through the Nauroyfjord was stunning, which meant the Hurtigruten in the Geirangerfjord wasn't 'special' in comparison

We started in Bergen. Enjoyed the city. Had a great day island hopping- rented a car and drove to Aurland. Great boat ride first afternoon. Terrific hike the next day. Great food and friendly people. Drove for 7 hours next day and saw some amazing sites. Drove to Oslo and loved that city.
Best parts:
The trip was great. The locations of every hotel was perfect. We stayed at a wonderful farm in Aurland close enough to Flom to get to the boat ride but away from the crowds. Loved the trip.
Worst parts:
The only thing we didn’t like was the Flom Railroad.

We spent the least amount of time in Oslo, per Anne's recommendation, and that was a good move. It's like many other large European cities. We were glad to have more time for the Western Fjord region of Norway. The kids enjoyed the Viking Village and the Viking Museum the best. But there wasn't anything they didn't like on this trip. The itinerary Anne designed for us had a good mix of things to keep the kids interested. The kids also loved the breakfast buffet at all the hotels! My husband and I enjoyed the scenery, all of the different modes of transportation which allowed us to focus on the sights as opposed to having to drive.
Best parts:
We had packed a lot into our trip and Anne was able to work with local people to personalize our itinerary so we didn't feel like herded cattle in a large group. We were able to enjoy most of the highlights Norway offers - although we didn't make it up to the Arctic circle, maybe next time! We enjoyed the lovely scenery via both the train ride and the fjord cruises. Our whole family thought the Viking Village was a lot of fun and the private lunch in one of the Viking houses was really delicious & cozy. Our tour guide there was really getting into character and it made the visit very entertaining! The private taxi ride to visit the mountains, see snow, and see Borgund Stave was definitely well organized. All of the accommodations were great! We appreciated being able to all stay I the same room - which isn't always feasible due to the small room sizes in Europe. We were especially impressed by the free dinner that was served at all the locations: it's not like in the US where you get a few appetizers. It was really a healthy, quality meal.
Worst parts:
There wasn't anything we didn't like about our trip.

Our trip to Norway was to visit sites, Maristuen, Norway and Stavanger; where my ancestors immigrated to USA from back in the 1860's-1870's. My husband and I took our 2 daughters, their husbands and 2 grandchildren along. A total of 8 travelers. We met some distant relatives in Maristuen. We spent 12-13 days traveling via, car, boat, train, ferry, bus. A wonderful experience for all.
Best parts:
We all like just everything about our trip to Norway. Thanks to our agent's suggestions and pacing, it was a most memorable trip for all 8 of us. Here are some our likes and there were many, one daughter says it was all a highlight, the other said the 'Snowy Road' was so amazing. We liked all our accommodations from apartments to cabins, to hotels. We enjoyed driving, from Oslo all around to Stavanger via Laerdal/Maristuen/Bergen. The route that Wenny suggested and we followed was just too beautiful to begin to describe. The fact that we had hot, sunny days, everyday for 12 days added to our pleasure. None of us got hurt hiking the many places we hiked, or sick for the entire journey. The children and adults enjoyed all the children friendly sites we visited, suggested by our agent. We loved Opera house, Folk Museum, Vigeland Sculpture Park in Oslo. The Bear Park was great for us all to get out of cars and just walk. Feeding a fox was a new experience for all...Maristuen, Norway was wonderful and our stay in a beautiful mountain high cabin. Borgund hiked 'Kings Road' and Stave Church lovely. 'Snowy Road' was a big WOW....Drive to Bergen so beautiful. The hike down from the Funicular was slow and wonderful after beautiful day at the top. The Fjordcruise to Pulpit Rock from Stavanger was a big hit with everyone. Drive along Norwegian Scenic Route:Jaeren was fun for all, the lovely beach where some dove into the cold North Sea others just waded. We loved everything about Norway...
Worst parts:
Checking in to the Frogner House apartments in Oslo, was a bit confusing at a Machine with no one to assist. There were others confused too, but we did it. Limo driver told us to hurry, due to lack of parking in that area. Understanding parking in Bergen, was confusing, but all managed. The train from Stavanger to Oslo was late 3-4 hours, thus we arrived in Oslo at 1:30am instead of 21:30 pm. very travel weary So only had 9 hours to sleep and be ready for transport to airport on July 5.

After a few days in Oslo, we drove to Bergen of 4 days. The drive was truly remarkable. Finished up with a few days in Bergen.
Best parts:
Our trip to Norway was terrific from start to finish. In particular, the hikes through remote parts of Norway were amazing!
Worst parts:
Perhaps the only thing I would have skipped would be the Flam Railway. It is a spectacular ride, but we had hiked through similar territory many other days. The train ride was less impressive than the hikes.

My destination was even more beautiful than I had expected. I was afraid of the cold but it was not an issue. Anne had given me a list of the clothing I needed as well as to get spikes so as not to slip on the ice, and it was very good. One thing I want to stress is the perfect planning of my itinerary and activities. I felt immediate empathy with Anne upon interacting to plan the trip, taking care up to the last detail. During my stretches on the Hurtigruten I noticed that most people just stayed on it for the circular voyage and went on some excursions provided by the ship. This can't compare to my in depth experience by getting off and staying in Tromso and Bergen. I thoroughly enjoyed this trip
Best parts:
I liked my whole trip very much. Some of the best parts were the Snow Hotel and king crab fishing in Kirkenes, the Hurtigruten, the Northern Lights and the whole Norway in a nutshell The Thon Hotel Rosenkrantz in Bergen was exceptional.
Worst parts:
There were no worst parts.

The entire trip was wonderful. I first visited Oslo for an evening, which was enough in the city as I was more anxious to get out of the city and into the wilderness. The first town of Flam was especially enjoyable, as was the scenic train to Flam…this should be on everyone’s itinerary. The cruise through the Fjords on my way to Bergen was also spectacular; especially with a visit from some killer whales in the Fjords that is apparently a very rare sighting. Next I visited Tromso, what a neat town that is. Saw the Northern Lights on two separate occasions, went husky sledding, reindeer sledding, and whale watching. Even though we didn’t see any whales on this trip, the scenery was spectacular and well worth the trip. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better week in Norway, and was very glad and thankful to Anne with Evaneos for arranging the itinerary, and for her excellent communication even after business hours.
Best parts:
The trip was absolutely incredible! I couldn’t have setup a better itinerary on my own, and I'm thankful I came across Evaneos. The train ride and evening spent in Flam were the best, as well as the excursions in Tromso.
Worst parts:
There wasn’t much at all that I didn’t like. The only thing I would suggest would be to incorporate more 'Airbnb' type accommodations to give an even more 'local' feel. However, the hotels that Anne picked out for me were wonderful...especially the hotel in Flam!
