We travelled from Oslo to Voss onto Bergen then Tromso. Our guide Stig in Oslo was very good company , fantastic facts and knowledge about Oslo. The ski resort in Voss is very accessible and the young people who work up there are super friendly and helpful. The restaurant is gorgeous too. Tromso was amazing , we got to see the Northern lights with an arranged mini bus trip by Evaneos. The dog sledding trip was Tromso’s highlight, we went to the Villmarkssenter , the crew were super fun especially Lauris our guide for the morning. The boat trip was very special too on board The Capella with Captain Jack. The hearty warming Norwegian salmon chowder made by Marta was the best.
The best parts:
We absolutely loved our trip to Norway, the best highlight was staying with Alan *******at Store ************* on the mountain side in Voss. His superb hospitality was second to none. He was out early clearing snow from the path to the hotel each morning, his breakfasts were amazing and locally produced cured meats from his farm were so delicious. We walked down to the Gondola each morning for our skiing all day we love to walk even in the snow. Although Alan provides a taxi bus he would tell us just to phone him if we needed help on our walk. In the evenings he would have a light bite ready for us in the bar and we looked forward to his friendly chats about life in Norway.
The worst parts:
We found Bergen a little uninteresting

I have always wanted to go to Norway and this trip allowed me and my four children to do some amazing activities and enjoy the amazing scenery as well as experience the Norwegian culture. The trip was carefully put together to allow us to travel from Oslo to Bergen by boat and train and stay at some beautiful places. It will certainly be a trip to remember and I would definitely go back to Norway
The best parts:
There were many positives to the trip. We loved the zipline at vathenalsen, Even though it initially looked scary, it was amazing with gorgeous views. We loved staying at vatnehallsen, which was in a beautiful spot and had amazing food and waffles. The via ferrata in Herdla was a highlight of the holiday too. We had a lovely time in Belastrand at the Balestrand hotel, which had amazing views to the fjords. Travelling by boat and train was also a highlight as we got to see some very scenic landscape. The vigeland park in Oslo was loved by the children. It was overall an amazing experience!
The worst parts:
We all loved our trip, however it was a little disappointing that our kayaking trip was cancelled by the local company. However, we instead go to do the glacier tour, which was interesting and enjoyable. We also didn’t like our first night in Oslo as we were given a room where it was too hot. We happened to have very warm and dry weather, which was unusual in Norway. I couldn’t complain about this though. It is always nice to enjoy the fjords in the sun!
Dear Alicia, it has been such a pleasure organising this trip for you and your kids. You are truly an adventurous gang! Velkommen tilbake, Anne

The entire trip was a blast, the paddling was somewhat difficult but manageable, and it get great to get all that exercise everyday. The camping was great, amazing spots with killer views and most of the locations looked straight out of a fairy tale. I learned a lot about Norway and the history and culture while being dazzled with the most breathtaking views imaginable!
The best parts:
The scenery was breathtaking, you could never imagine a more beautiful part of the world and seeing it from a kayak made it even more dramatic. Visiting local points of history, the abandoned farms, was fascinating as well.
The worst parts:
There was nothing even remotely bad about the trip.
Thank you so much Katie. And such breathtaking pictures too <3, almost boring with the blue skies....Well it must be said that the 6-day kayak trip from Ålesund to Geiranger that you did, is not for the mainstream traveller. It is like small expedition, so that it made you sweat, I can totally understand. But you did it: bravo! Velkommen tilbake (welcome back), Anne

Dear Katie, thank you very much for your lovely feedback and the amazing pictures! We are very happy that you enjoyed your trip to Norway and it would be a pleasure to see you again soon! Yours sincerely, your Evaneos Team!

The highlight of our trip to Norway was connecting with my heritage. My father had spent many years researching his heritage through genealogy. We got to meet many cousins and had a wonderful luncheon and tour of the farm at Oppstugu Berbu. That one day was worth the entire trip. Many memories made!
The best parts:
Norway is an absolutely beautiful country from the tundra of the North Cape to the lush, green fields of the waist of Norway, Trondheim. Our 4 hotels were outstanding, especially ********** in Inderoy and the proprietor Per. He was very welcoming and a gracious host. The meal at the **** prepared and served by their chef was world class!. The ************ in Orkanger was very classic. We did miss the evening meal due to our meeting with the Family, but the breakfast buffet was ample.
The worst parts:
Time spent in air travel to and from Norway
Dear Rex and Katherine, thank you so much for taking the time to write a review. This was really a bespoke trip in a specific area, your heritage. We are so happy that all worked out well, and that your wish came true: you got to meet your relatives. This was always very special for us. Big hug to the two of you, Anne

We started in Bergen. Enjoyed the city. Had a great day island hopping- rented a car and drove to Aurland. Great boat ride first afternoon. Terrific hike the next day. Great food and friendly people. Drove for 7 hours next day and saw some amazing sites. Drove to Oslo and loved that city.
The best parts:
The trip was great. The locations of every hotel was perfect. We stayed at a wonderful farm in Aurland close enough to Flom to get to the boat ride but away from the crowds. Loved the trip.
The worst parts:
The only thing we didn’t like was the Flom Railroad.
Thank you so much Kenny for taking the time to write the review. You did a lot in a short time span, but you certainly used your time max. I am happy you liked the trip and hope to welcome you back again: then you definitely have to come an visit our farm and paddle with us. I will ask our daughter to bake cinnamon rolls for you and Jane :-) Hug from, Anne

Grandma and grandpa with teen grandchildren experiencing both rural and urban Norway.. Museums, hiking, kayaking, walking, eating, and exploring a beautiful country filled with warm and accommodating people.
The best parts:
We had a spectacular trip to Norway. The people, accommodations, transportation, and food all exceeded our expectations. It was truly a privilege to spend time in such a beautiful and hospitable country.
Hi Eric, thank you so much for taking the time to write a review. I had so much fun designing this trip for you and your grandchildren. I am so happy the trip exceeded your expectations and that you really got to experience Norwegian Hospitality. Have a nice summer, Anne

My destination was even more beautiful than I had expected. I was afraid of the cold but it was not an issue. Anne had given me a list of the clothing I needed as well as to get spikes so as not to slip on the ice, and it was very good. One thing I want to stress is the perfect planning of my itinerary and activities. I felt immediate empathy with Anne upon interacting to plan the trip, taking care up to the last detail. During my stretches on the Hurtigruten I noticed that most people just stayed on it for the circular voyage and went on some excursions provided by the ship. This can't compare to my in depth experience by getting off and staying in Tromso and Bergen. I thoroughly enjoyed this trip
The best parts:
I liked my whole trip very much. Some of the best parts were the Snow Hotel and king crab fishing in Kirkenes, the Hurtigruten, the Northern Lights and the whole Norway in a nutshell The Thon Hotel Rosenkrantz in Bergen was exceptional.
The worst parts:
There were no worst parts.
Thank you so much Silvia for taking the time to write a review. It was a pleasure making this once in a lifetime trip for you come true. You have such a sporty mind, traveling on your own in your age. And you did it! Thank you for your trust, and welcome back for more adventures :-) Anne

The entire trip was wonderful. I first visited Oslo for an evening, which was enough in the city as I was more anxious to get out of the city and into the wilderness. The first town of Flam was especially enjoyable, as was the scenic train to Flam…this should be on everyone’s itinerary. The cruise through the Fjords on my way to Bergen was also spectacular; especially with a visit from some killer whales in the Fjords that is apparently a very rare sighting. Next I visited Tromso, what a neat town that is. Saw the Northern Lights on two separate occasions, went husky sledding, reindeer sledding, and whale watching. Even though we didn’t see any whales on this trip, the scenery was spectacular and well worth the trip. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better week in Norway, and was very glad and thankful to Anne with Evaneos for arranging the itinerary, and for her excellent communication even after business hours.
The best parts:
The trip was absolutely incredible! I couldn’t have setup a better itinerary on my own, and I'm thankful I came across Evaneos. The train ride and evening spent in Flam were the best, as well as the excursions in Tromso.
The worst parts:
There wasn’t much at all that I didn’t like. The only thing I would suggest would be to incorporate more 'Airbnb' type accommodations to give an even more 'local' feel. However, the hotels that Anne picked out for me were wonderful...especially the hotel in Flam!
Thank you so much Jeff for your kind words. It has been such a pleasure working with you. I 'travelled' a little with you through our communication along the way and I was as thrilled as you were. Imagine seeing Killer Whales in the Nærøyfjord while taking the ferry, never happened before, you are one lucky guy. Thank you also for your feedback about missing the 'AirBnB' feel, I am sorry but Norway is not well developed at that type of home stays (it is not really in the nature of Norwegians to do that, they are quite private about their homes, so they are rare). I hope we can welcome you back sometimes in summer, so we can take you out hiking and kayaking in the Fjords, and you are absolutely welcome to come and visit our sheepfarm in the Fjords. Kind regards from the Fjords of Norway, Anne

Our first real adventure as a family of 5 - it was wonderful! We enjoyed the diversity of what we did (fjords, mountains, farm...), the well planned and easy to follow itinerary, the ideas of things to do with the children. We felt this trip was tailored to us, with many special things that were wonderful but didnt feature in our guidebook! Our travel agents were always available for questions, and even invited us to visit them on their farm. We are looking forward to our next trip!
The best parts:
Beautiful country, wonderful landscapes, great places to stay and a lot of fun and very diverse activities along the way!
Thank you Isabelle. It was such a pleasure designing this trip for you and your family. I had so much fun reminding what kind of things my children liked to do when they were young. With a baby of 8 months, and children age 3 and 6, there are so many fun things to do in Norway. With a self-drive round trip, staying in cabins for several nights in a row, and including farm visits (all children love animals!) gave you the opportunity to get to experience several areas. You visiting us at our sheep farm was also a highlight for us. Your children are so cute. I think your oldest daughter wanted to stay here :-) I hope to see you and your family again, when the children are a little older, so we can design a new adventure for you. Big hug from the Fjords, Anne

We had a great trip from the agent who helped us organise it through the whole adventure right up to the follow up from our agent. Everything was perfect
The best parts:
I loved the company both guides were lovely and the conversations flowed easily, we learnt a lot about where we were and felt completely comfortable with them.
The worst parts:
It's a slight shame that fjord is so popular it would have been nice to be more isolated but I assume its a popular fjord because its so bloody beautiful which was breath taking!
Hi Keeta, thank you so much for taking the time to write a review. Although your trip in Norway was short, it seems it has been a memorable one. It was a pleasure having you on on of our own activities, the two day guided kayak trip in the Geiranger Fjord. Thank you for choosing Evaneos, and maybe one day we may welcome you back again? Kind regards from the Fjords, Rogier and Anne

We spend a few days in Oslo and then took the train to Myrdal. After hoping on the train to Flam we got off on the first stop a family owed hiking hotel. Loved the smallness of it and hikes awaiting out the door. Train to flam then ferry on the fiord and then bus to Stalheim. Again, smaller hotel with great food and great hikes. Bus to train to Bergen and two days and one night in Bergen. Finally LOVELY ferry ride to Stalvag! OMG - we loved that ferry ride along the coast. We were met at the dock by the owner of the hotel and he became out best friend, He loaned us his car and took us for tour on his fishing boat. Fabulous food, friendship and locale - and we had the chance to meet Anne. She is truly a professional. Every aspect of you trip was outlined to the minutes with tips. Loved the fact that she set up a Whatsapp group so I felt that she was there if ever we needed it. BRAVO!
The best parts:
Anne - our local contact - was great about listening to what type of things we enjoyed and integrating that into our travel. We loved her suggestions for small family run hotels ad the hiking. As you know, Norway is a big place and I feel she put together a trip in which we were able to experience a variety of places.
The worst parts:
No much. There was a touristy restaurant in Bergen that I found on Yelp that was a big disappointment but that had nothing to do with you guys!
Thank you so much Tyrie. I am so happy you enjoyed your trip. It was so fun meeting you in Kalvåg, in our home region, which turned out to be your favorite :-) Please come back some day and paddle kayak with us, you will love it. Hug to you and George, Anne

Thank you Elizabeth for taking the time to give us feedback. It was a challenge to fit all your wishes into a limited period of time, and at the same time providing you with a variated program. I am happy we succeeded and we agree on the improvements! You are welcome to come back, we will be happy to help you. And when you all start training now, we will try to fit in the famous 11-hour hike to Trolltunga the next time. Velkommen tilbake!

From Lofotens to Trondheim, from Geiranger to the Land of Giants, Jotunheimen, from Geilo to charming old wooden city of Bergen, from Sognefjord to Stavanger and Pulpitt Rock, this one probably was one of the most successful vacations to date. Scenery ranging from breath taking to absolutely surrealistically beatiful, wonder of kayaking towards the midnight sun with the full moon behind you, over the mirror like waters of the fjords, amidst the jagged peaks... Roaring of waterfalls falling from the cliffs... Stark beauty of the highlands... Haloed history of the Vikings, captivating architectural feats of the old and modern alike...
The best parts:
My journey was most meticulously planned, aimed at showing the best, giving the best, captivating and prompting to come back. Highly professional and at the same time very personal service by Rogier's agency leaves a lingering sensation of being at home, being welcome and valued. It puts them at the top of a large number of the tour operators experienced to day

Thank you so much for your kind words Jamil. It was a pleasure to have you as a customer and being able to offer you your dreamtrip to Norway. We are happy to assist you when you come back. Velkommen!

Thank you so much Maarten for your feedback. We were so happy we managed to design/book this trip for you and your family, kind of last-minute, with Norway being quite overbooked already. Happy to hear that you enjoyed your trip. You are very welcome to come back to Norway when your sons are a little older, then there will be even more possibilities for bigger adventures. Velkommen tilbake!

The Viking Museum at Stavanger was very informative and the Viking Festival was fun to see. Pulpit Rock is our favourite destination, the lodge has a nice combination of wood cabin rooms with modern bathroom fixtures. The view from our hotel at Gairanger Fjord was stunning and the speed boat tour of the fjord was lots of fun. At Alesund the hotel spa was a welcomed relaxation from our days in the car. Thank you Rogier and Anne!
The best parts:
The driving routes through the country, along the western shore and up to Gairanger Fjord were fantastic.
The worst parts:
There is nothing that could have been better! During the preparation questions were answered quickly, the proposal package was well put together and the payment was fair and easy to complete.

Thank you Alex. We are so happy you and your wife enjoyed your trip. You definitely spent quite some hours in the car, to be able to do everything you wanted in just more than a week. Wonderful to read that you enjoyed those hours as well. That is the nice thing about Norway, the scenery is also nice from the car, and it gives you another view behind every corner/turn. When you want to return to Norway some day, we will be happy to assist you. Velkommen tilbake!
