A village that's a few kilometres from Pokhara and home to the famous World Peace Pagoda.

My suggestion:
You can head there by yourself - you'll be shown the way!
My review

The town of Pokhara has an easy going seaside feel, thanks to its lake! Consequently, I spent a while here, partly to explore the area and partly to prepare myself for the Annapurnas Trek. There's loads to do including the walk via Bhumdi to the famous Buddhist stupa that looks over the lake.

One option is to get there by boat, but I went for the second option - a 2 hour walk from Pokhara, which gets steep towards the end. Once you leave the town to head to the lovely village of Bhumdi, you'll need to find the forest trail. I admit, it was hard to find my way at the start and lots of kids wanted to lead me in the right direction, whatever that was! In short, I reached my destination in time for sunset. It was a great experience, one worth doing if you have some time on your hands during your trip to Nepal.
