My suggestion

Off season, it's a quiet place You'll have no problem sorting out a place to stay. If you want to go fishing, sort out equipment in advance, as it's hard to find here.

The lake water is still very clean but a rise in livestock using the area for winter pasture has led to some pollution of the shore and feeder rivers, so you are better off purifying your water. Khuvsgul is a pristine but increasingly heavily visited part of Mongolia. We are family of four, we stayed for 5 nights. we took horse trips and a boat ride. We also ate breakfasts and dinners, all very delicious and healthy. There is super hot shower and laundry services. We highly recommend this place. The palce in the are has Mongolina farm to visit with local guided teams..there is sheeps goats...horses and cows..amazing nature and wonderfull people...we have loven it....

By far the best tour and experience I ever had. Mongolia is like nothing I have ever experienced. Bayaraa and his wife Nyamaa plus the team made my trip unforgettable. They went above and beyond to make sure we were all happy with our trip."
