Spending an entire day in the Temple of Madurai and forgetting all of its benchmarks.

My suggestion
If you're in Madurai during April or May, you should go to the Alagar Festival, which celebrates the marriage between Shiva and Meenakshi. A superb festival.
Nestled in the heart of Tamil Nadu, Madurai and its famous Meenakhsi Amman Temple are exemplary examples of Tamil culture and leave a lasting impression on travelers!
My suggestion
Take the time to wander around the Meenakshi Amman Temple in Madurai. Marriages are often celebrated here, a scent of jasmine pervades its interior and its Lakshmi elephant are just a few of its attractions!
