A ski resort in southern Georgia, Bakuriani is a lovely town located in a spectacular setting.

My suggestion:
You'll be able to rent skiing equipment when you get here; and when it comes to using the ski lifts, you simply pay a charge for each ascent.
My review

Bakuriani is a ski resort located 1,700 metres up in the Trialeti mountain range. To be honest, I didn't really expect much from this town before I came here: ski resorts in Eastern Europe and the Caucasus are often ugly and heavily concreted over or exclusive winter paradises frequented by the wealthy and affluent. However, I was completely taken by Bakuriani, with its pretty chalets, Alpine village feel and family atmosphere.

In my opinion, this is one of the region's nicest ski resorts, despite the fact the number of pistes here is quite limited. It's also a good place to visit in summer (which is when I went) as there are beautiful hikes to go on in the surrounding mountains (from where, as an added bonus, the panoramic views are simply magnificent). A great destination to visit in Georgia.
