Mijnis Kure is one of the symbolic summits of the badlands of the arid Vashlovani National Park. With its arid formations and extreme erosion, this Georgian Colorado forms an incredible landscape.

My suggestion:
Go and visit the Tush sheepfolds: the shepherds use the Shiraki steppe for winter grazing, despite the extreme conditions.
My review

Mijnis Kure is perhaps the most picturesque mountain range within what is the most authentic national park in Georgia.

The scenery of Vashlovani National Park, situated in the Shiraki steppe to the South of Kakheti, is almost surreal. From sandstone reliefs, where erosion and barrenness have carved out extremely deep lines everywhere, to canyons, to sharp valleys, the mountain range resembles the badlands of Dakota or Colorado.

The Mijis Kure mountain range takes centre stage within the most arid zone of Vashlovani. On the Northern slope, there's a hut for the park rangers. On the Southern slope, towards the Eldari plain, on the Azerbaijan border, there are the most incredible views. But if you head on foot to the top of the summit, you'll get an even better view of this crazy landscape...
