The old logging station gave up some of its land to build Station Touristique Duchesnay. The new school was inaugurated in 2001 and Auberge Duchesnay opened in 2003. You can rent a room or a whole lodge, and indulge in open air activities like snowshoeing, skating or cross-country skiing. As well as the Auberge, the resort has some more unusual activities: a Scandinavian style spa, an Inukshuk maze, paddle surfing, Hok skiing, and black bear watching, in complete safety obviously. The resort is part of a sustainable development programme.
