Salar de Chiguana is a salt desert not far from Salar de Uyuni in the region of Lípez.

My suggestion:
Be careful though, because the nights are cold in Lípez. So wrap up warm!
My review

While on holiday in Bolivia, in Sud Lípez, we discovered Salar de Chiguana. The nights in Uyuni and Sud Lípez are harsh. After a short and cold night, we got into our 4x4 and headed towards the Uyuni desert. On our journey, we came across the Chiguana desert with all of its cacti, birds and wild llamas.

Dominated by the Ollagüe volcano, Salar de Chiguana is covered in volcanic stones. The most famous of them is El Arbol de Piedra, or "stone tree". After this little stop, we took the road towards Laguna Cañapa, Laguna Honda and Laguna Hedionda.

A great adventure in one of Bolivia's most beautiful regions - you must do it as long as you don't suffer from back pain because the 4x4 rides are extremely bumpy!
