In the department of Cochambamba, on the banks of the Chapare River, Villa Tunari is a town surrounded by tropical forest.

My suggestion:
Don't forget your mosquito repellent!
My review

Nature lovers, you'll find your happiness in Villa Tunari. At 300 km from Santa Cruz de la Sierra, the pretty Bolivian town of 2,000 inhabitants is known especially for its natural parks. It's not far from Villa Tunari, so you can discover Carrasco National Park, known for its diverse climate and its fauna of spectacled bears, jaguars and even tapirs. Do you want more? Head to Machia Park to meet its adorable monkeys and its multicoloured birds and butterflies. Please note that for both parks, the rules to follow are the same:

- Wear clothes which cover you well to avoid insect bites

- Wear non-slip or hiking shoes

- Don't forget to have sufficient water with you

- Don't forget your insect repellent

- And finally... open your eyes wide!

I can assure you that once you follow these instructions, you're going to love it!
