Chuvica is a city located on the doorstop of Salar de Uyuni, and is known for its hotel built entirely from salt.

My suggestion:
For a truly original night, stay at Chuvica's salt hotel. But don't expect a 5 star hotel. Comfort is basic and it's cold.
My review

I had the opportunity to spend the night in Chuvica while visiting Salar de Uyuni and Nor Lípez

When we arrived in Chuvica, our roommates in the hostel gave us a few warnings: water and power cuts were frequent and we'd have to forget about hot showers. We laughed it off though because that's just how Bolivia is: nature reigns supreme, you'll have memorable encounters and you can forget about personal comfort; in other words, it's all part of the adventure!

When I look back, I don't remember the cold or the little inconveniences that I experienced while travelling in Bolivia. Instead I'm reminded of Salar de Uyuni, Laguna Colorada, Agua Calientes, the Siloli desert, Laguna Honda, Laguna Charcota, Laguna Hedionda, Laguna Cañapa and all of Bolivia's fantastic landscapes...
