Laguna Khota Pata is a lake located at an altitude of 14,630 ft in the Cordillera Real range.

My suggestion:
To counter the effects of 'soroche' (altitude sickness), I recommend drinking a coca leaf-based herbal tea.
My review

Sometimes referred to as the Himalayas of the New World, the Cordillera Real range consists of a series of very large mountains reaching between 13,100 ft and 19,700 ft in height. In addition to its wonderful scenery and countless hiking trails, this outstanding area is also home to a considerable number of Aymara communities where it's possible to share a meal with the inhabitants or even stay overnight.

Laguna Khota Pata lies at an altitude of 14,630 ft and is one hour's walk from Laguna Tres Picos. This lovely shimmering lake is reached via a craggy and quite steep little path. The region's local inhabitants come here to fish for trout. You'll actually get the opportunity to sample this for yourself if you decide to stay overnight with the Aymara.
