The Congelada Lagoon is a lagoon at high altitude located in the heart of the Cordillera Real, not far from the Jurikhota Lagoon.

My suggestion:
To get used to the altitude, I advise doing an acclimatisation hike for 2 days, close to Lake Titicaca.
My review

Discovering the majestic mountain chain of the Cordillera Real is the dream of numerous Andean lovers. This exceptional hike is just as reputed for its luxurious landscapes as for its difficulty. Indeed, it's essential to be in excellent physical condition to be able to complete this trek, which has an altitdue of between 4,000 and 6,000 m.

Also know that there are lots of itineraries depending on your level and on the time you have available. Most people follow the paths previously used by the Tiahuanaco Indians.

During our second day of trekking from La Paz, we discoveredthe Congelada ("Frozen") Lagoon, approximately 1h30 on foot from Jurikhota Lagoon. As its name indicates, this lagoon, located at an altitude of 4,900 m is linked by two glaciers. Don't attempt a little dive in the lagoon - its waters are frozen!
