After having travelled a very difficult and chaotic road, I come to a lodge located on the bank of the Kunene. Here, desert Namibia seems forgotten in the middle of a luxuriant forest and a river overflowing with water!
 For two days on the bank of Kunene River the programme boiled down to moments of lounging around, rafting and ending up in the water a few times, followed by a sundowner in a boat, on the river. There, I learn that there are crocodiles, and I can see and hear them! A few hours earlier, I was in these same waters! Apparently, crocodiles do not like the swirling parts so I could swim without fear... It is better to find this out after swimming, as I am not sure I would have done so after all!  
It is time to leave this very pleasant place, to see <a href="/namibia/">while on a trip to Namibia.</a>
