A genuine little wonder of nature, this is definitely somewhere to make an excursion to.

My suggestion:
Caverne Patate attracts large numbers of visitors all year round. Take a torch with you so you don't miss anything on the guided tour.
My review

Though the island of Rodrigues may well be small in size, nature has endowed it with a number of natural treasures. One example is the well-known Caverne Patate, which is famous not only for its size and depth but also for the impression it creates on visitors. Some quite stunning caves have formed in this 2000 ft long and around 82 ft high limestone plateau.

It's possible to take a tour of Caverne Patate conducted by one of the English-speaking guides present at the site. Give free reign to your imagination and leave yourself with impressive memories of your trip to the island of Rodrigues. When I personally visited Caverne Patate, I rounded things off with a quick tour of the adjoining tortoise reserve. In summary, Caverne Patate is definitely a place to explore, especially if you want somewhere that will leave you with fond memories of your family holiday together.
