Malang is a city in East Java that once served as a holiday destination for European colonials.
My suggestion
The souvenir shops in Malang sell very beautiful local arts and crafts products of a kind we didn't come across anywhere else on our trip, so take the opportunity to make some purchases while you're here.

You can renew your tourist visa in Malang. It's not very difficul,t and few tourists go to Malang, which means you don't have to queue for hours.
If we have loved the Island of Gods, the pearl of Indonesia, which has had such great tourist success for many years now, we can't deny that it is suffering for its fame. The environment is deteriorating year by year, mainly due to the plague of plastic which is everywhere and which the government does nothing about. Rubbish is not treated and the plastic remains.
Catch nature unawares as she wakes up...or at least that's what it feels like when you are on the wonderful 2,329 metre high Mount Bromo, on the east of the island of Java. An absolutely spectacular and unforgettable moment. If you don't appreciate nature then don't bother!
Flores and the Sunda islands in general are much less touristic that certain other destinations in Indonesia. Go there to enjoy an authentic adventure in the Indonesian archipelago.
