Let's be honest, Hurghada is a town lacking charm , built primarily to satisfy tourists. However, you have to admit thatit's very beautiful and very hot; the sand is white, the sea transparent and the seabeds are so spectacular that they'll take your breath away!
I went there for a week; I was on this trip to Egypt to make the most of the sea and to go scuba diving. I had the opportunity to go to the beach twice. On the agenda: scuba-diving and a dive without any breathing apparatus. I was able to observe corals and a multitude of fish; I was even lucky enough to see a beautiful lionfish!
Right after my first swim, I learned to wear plastic shoes to walk in the sea; it's ugly, but it avoids painful cuts on the soles of your feet caused by corals and shells.
There's also a souk where you can buy interesting things and, above all, buy aloe vera for next to nothing.
Be careful to avoid sunburn and sunstroke; it's scorching, but by the sea you often don't realise it.
