My suggestion

Spend time in each town: Bodnath, Pashupathinath, Swayambunath, Patan, at let yourself get carried away by each area's individual ambience.

Situated in the centre of Nepal, the Kathmandu valley is home to many natural and cultural sites that are not to be missed, including the capital, Kathmandu...

My suggestion

The Kathmandu valley has many hidden gems which merit a few days spent visiting them, a good way to discover these sites is to take time cycling around the area.

The Kathmandu Valley displays an ensemble of protected sites, cultivated fields, mountain villages and medieval cities surrounding the capital. It is one the most varied scenic regions of the country, with rolling countryside.

My suggestion

Here you will come into contact with a good number of children on the walking paths asking you for pens, chocolates and other bits and pieces. Rather than encouraging begging, it's better to give your donation to a relevant organisation that will use it wisely.
