The walk towards Bhulbhule is part of what has to be one of the world's most stunning hikes. I arrived at Beshisahar by bus from Pokhara and began my walk in the direction of Bhulbhule. An easy walk that crosses a lush landscape and paddy fields.
It has be said that, if ever you decide to do this famous trek during <a href="/nepal/">your trip to Nepal</a>, this section is not the prettiest. Walking along paths or roads undergoing works is not the most impressive part, even if you know that further down the line, you'll be standing on one of the country's highest peaks.
The town itself is charming, but I did wonder if I should have followed others' advice and taken a jeep to the higher levels, where the trek is across open countryside (Dharapani). For info, you'll find plenty of hotel/tea houses, where most tourists eat, a post office and some thermal springs, which I didn't, unfortunately, get a chance to visit.
