Nestled among rice terraces that sculpt the landscape, Jhinu Danda is a great stopover for the night, before continuing on to the Annapurna base camp. After crossing the Modi Khola River via the New Bridge suspension bridge, the trail heads uphill towards Jhinu Danda and across cultivated fields, where water buffalo quietly graze whilst watching the world go by.
 Once you've arrived, you'll face a dilemma - should you take a dip in the thermal springs on the lower outskirts of the village or settle down to a hot cup of chai and enjoy the view? I went for the former and have no regrets, apart from having to walk back up the hill to Jhinu Danda...In any case, lazing in hot springs on the foothills of the Annapurnas is one of the most incredible experiences on offer during a holiday in Nepal and one that you won't quickly forget!
