Gondwana is an organisation that owns several lodgings spread out over <a href="/namibia/"> several symbolic Namibian sites </a>. Not far from Fish River Canyon they own three of different standards. I was lucky to visit the Canyon Lodge, situated in the heart of superb scenery and the kind of place that you normally see in films.  For those lucky enough to be Gondwana customers , enjoy the surroundings all you can. Indeed, there are a few hiking trails. It is possible to go walking alone on the property, the different walks offering superb viewpoints. Others, especially those that are close to the Canyon have an admission fee and require the presence of a guide.
