We have negociated our trip with the local agent and he could understand that our focus was culture - countryside - rest. The combination of all activitites has been nearly perfect. The stay at Kuta could be replaced by another place, even if the distance from the airport is bigger.
We could enjoy the combination of beautiful sights - beautiful monuments - very friendly people. Bali is a must.
The best parts:
Cultural heritage - kindness of people - weather - beautiful countryside - our driver who knows a lot on religious traditions - food
The worst parts:
Too much focus of our driver on religious beliefs but we understand - it tales a lot of time totravel on the roads

Our favourite parts were visiting Rumah Desa and Bagus Agro Pelaga, two offbeat and truly amazing places offering a completely different feel compared to touristy parts of Bali!
The best parts:
Our wonderful driver, stunning eco-friendly places visited and activities.
The worst parts:
The main issue I have was with a non eco-friendly place being visited, our lunchtime spot near Ubud, which had caged civet cats to produce luwak coffee. This place should not be visited by Evaneos tours. Also, a brochure of our local agency left in the car showed that they seem to offer elephant rides. I hope Evaneos will educate them that elephant riding is deeply unethical!

We changed our tour last minute to accommodate the kids a little bit more. We saw less cultural stuff i.e. temples and put in more water activities and shopping. The temples that we visited was amazing. We were lucky to have been there on a good day for locals to celebrate their beliefs so we saw a lot of celebrations at the various local temples. People preparing for cremation ceremony. Traffic on the road made it difficult to travel especially when you are on a bigger bus ( 20 passengers bus) need to take this into consideration when traveling with kids. Overall great trip.
The best parts:
We had a three day tour booked in advance but we had to change it last minute. Tour guide was kind enough to accommodate this. They manage to arrange our new schedule the day before.
Bus driver was very accommodating. He was willing to stop any where for us to take pictures and experience new things.
Restaurant choices were great. They were clean and the food taste great!
Welcoming gifts were a nice touch!
The worst parts:
Tour guide was nice however he did not speak English that well. He was not the best story teller. We would have liked him to give us more info. This was the whole point for us to take the kids so they can learn more about the culture of Bali. Not sure they got it.
