Code of Conduct

Not every agency can join Evaneos—only 1 in 10 applicant is selected for quality and commitment to people and planet. Since 2019, all sign our Code of Conduct, aligned with international tourism principles from UNWTO and ABTA. With 1,500+ agents trained, our network drives real impact by choosing responsible suppliers, preserving culture, and regenerating nature.

Better Trips Index

The Better Trips Index (BTI) tracks three pillars: sustainability impact, traveler satisfaction, and performance. For agencies, it’s a development tool; for travelers, a guide to values-aligned choices; and for us, the guarantee that every trip lives up to the promise of better travel.

Overtourism Index: A Tool for a Fairer Future

Overtourism isn’t only about crowds—it’s about pressure on people, places, and ecosystems. In 2024, we partnered with Roland Berger Consultancy to create the first Overtourism Index: data from 70 countries, 5 clusters of pressure, and solutions to rebalance demand, empower destinations, and build a fairer, more resilient future.

Driving Local Change, Destination by Destination

Better travel must be built from the ground up. In Greece, after our Overtourism Index flagged Mykonos and Santorini, we stopped selling peak-season trips and co-created 100+ new itineraries with local agencies. Next: Indonesia360, a destination-first model for decarbonization and impact-driven travel design.
