Travel in Cuba

We had first thought about traveling to Southeast Asia but did not feel we had enough time. Therefore, we decided on Cuba, which is a mystery to many Americans despite our tangled history with Cuba and Cuba's close proximity to the US. We were looking for an exploration of the Cuban culture rather than a (vacation) but wanted some down time at at a beach as well. The plan that was proposed to us was good right from the start and working with our Agent in Havana allowed us to make changes and tweak the itinerary when and as needed. There was nothing about this trip that did not work the way it was planned, which made the trip as successful as it could be.

We went to Havana, then Viñales, then the nice cities of Cienfuegos and Trinidad and finished with a few days of beach in Cayo Santa Maria.
