This city tour of Hanoi takes in essential sites which will commence from your hotel lobby at 08.30 a.m. In the morning, you'll visit the Ho Chi Minh Complex including the Mausoleum, his former stilt-house residence, the Presidential Palace;visit the Hoa Lo Prison Museum which housed Vietnamese revolutionaries and American POW during the Vietnam War.
After lunch at a local Vietnamese restaurant, you'll continue visiting the Museum of Ethnology, widely acknowledged as the best in the country, containing an extensive display of life-size structures dedicated to Vietnam’s 54 ethnic minority peoples.

After breakfast, you'll drive through the fertile lands and rice fields of the Red River Delta, a major agricultural area of Vietnam with refreshment break en route. Once you arrive in Halong Bay you will board your boat for an overnight cruise that will uncover the mysteries of this legendary bay. As your boat navigates pass the thousand limestone peaks, your informative guide will explain the local legends and the global value of Halong Bay, the World Natural Heritage site of Vietnam. Visit one of the famous caves in the middle of the bay. Return to the junk refreshed and relax on deck with a drink to watch the sunset. Enjoy a freshly prepared seafood dinner under the stars.

Enjoy an early Taichi exercise or photo hunt, followed by breakfast. Visit a popular beach site and go swimming if the weather permits, relaxing at the beach or hike up to the top of the island for a panoramic view of Halong Bay. Kayak among the hidden areas of the bay, around the Man’s Head Islet area. Enjoy a brunch while cruising back to the main harbor where your private car will be waiting for you and drive straight to Noi Bai airport in Hanoi for a late afternoon flight to Ho Chi Minh City. On arrival, pick up and transfer to your hotel in the downtown.

After breakfast, you will drive to Cu Chi Tunnels where you will visit the amazing network of underground tunnels was used during the Vietnam War by the Viet Cong. This huge construction was a habitation for villagers in the war time. With 3 levels of depth, it was never discovered by the US during the Vietnam War despite its proximity to Saigon. Visit the fighting tunnel system with your local guide.
After lunch, return to Ho Chi Minh City for a guided city tour, starting with the War Remnants Museum - a real eye-opening part of Vietnam's proud history; followed by the Reunification Palace; the former South Vietnam Presidential Palace; the Notre Dame Cathedral and Old Post Office, as you get your camera working overtime peeking into the past of Vietnam's biggest, most energetically progressive city. Return to your hotel at around 18.00. You’ll spend the night in Ho Chi Minh City.

08.30 AM, you will be picked up to Agricultural Village which is about 40km from the city centre. Upon arrival, you will visit a vast farm and an organic garden with many different kinds of herbs, spices and vegetables. Your guide will show you around and explain the use of them. You will also visit the Mushroom House to learn how to grow mushrooms. Later, experience what it is like to be a Vietnamese farmer – select herbs and vegetables from the garden under guidance of your chef. Sit down and discover Vietnamese kitchenware to cook and enjoy a tasty 3 courses meal under guidance of your talented professional chef. You will then sample your own dishes after cooking. During the class you can just concentrate on the pleasure of discovering and cooking, you will be provided all detailed recipes at the end. Menu for vegetarians or customers with specific food allergies can be adapted so please let us know in advance so we can accommodate for you. Kids from 7 years old are welcome.
After lunch you will drive to visit the Cu Chi tunnels. The tunnels are 75 kms northwest of Ho Chi Minh City, an area that played an important role during Vietnam’s wars for independence and unification. The more than 200 km of tunnels built here by the Communist guerrillas are the often the highlight of South Vietnam touring. You can explore the bedrooms, meeting rooms, air-raid shelters, smokeless kitchens, and experience life underground in this extraordinary tunnel complex. Return by road to Ho Chi Minh City, arriving in the late afternoon.
