Day 1: Welcome dinner and entertainment in Hanoi

Guided transfer from Noi Bai International Airport to your hotel.

Welcome dinner, followed by a water puppet show and an overnight stay in Hanoi.

Day 2: Hanoi's Lush Countryside

9am pick-up from your hotel, for a 65km drive to Duong Lam ancient village.

Walk along the village path to visit Mong Phu, King Ngo Quyen, and King Phung Hung Temples.

Lunch of local cuisine in an ancient house before you continue to Mia Pagoda, then transfer back to your hotel in Hanoi.

Day 3: Hanoi City Tour

Full-day tour to explore Hanoi's cultural side. Ho Chi Minh mausoleum, the House On Stilts, the One Pillar Pagoda, the Fine Arts Museum, the Temple of Literature, and the Ethnology Gallery.
Explore the speciality shops in the Old Quarter, then board your overnight train to Lao Cai.

Day 4: Heaven's Gate

Early arrival into Lao Cai Train Station and transfer to Sapa for breakfast at a local restaurant. 
Journey to Heaven's Gate, Vietnam's highest point, before an optional cycling trip to Muong Hoa Valley. 

Cycle to the Black Hmong village of Lao Chai, then stop off in a local house for food and rest at Giay Tribal Village.

Continue on to your lodge bungalow for an overnight stay overlooking the mountains.

Day 5: Lech Dao Village

Begin the day with cycling along the main road, followed by a short walk to the Red Dao family to experience their traditional way of life.

Back on the bikes to Lech Village, where you'll have a rest and learn about the local embroidery

Lunch at the lodge, before a free afternoon, dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6: Hill Tribe Market

Breakfast, then drive the scenic route to a local ethnic minority market.

Lunch, then transfer to Lao Cai Train Station for your overnight train back to Hanoi.

Day 7: Swimming In Crystal Clear Waters

Arrival at 5am and enjoy breakfast at a restaurant. 

Depart from Hanoi by private car at 8:30am and arrive at the jetty at noon.

While on board, check-in, welcome drinks and lunch.

Cruise to Bai Tu Long Bay where you can take a dip in the water or explore Thien Canh Son Cave.
Resume your trip to Hon Co Island to relax on the white-sand beach, swim, or kayak.

Back to the boat for dinner and stay overnight.

Day 8: Cat Ba National Park

Set off to Vung Vieng fishing village in a rustic row boat.

Meet the local people, visit the floating school and fish farms.

Board another boat to Cat Ba Island, where a bus will take you to the National Park.

Lunch and check-in, then leisure time at the beaches and markets before an overnight stay.

Day 9: The Ninh Binh Province

Breakfast at the hotel, then departure to Hai Phong City by speed boat.

You'll take a tour of the city upon arrival, to see its key historic sites such as Du Hang and Hang Kenth Padogas.

Lunch, then drive to the Ning Binh province, stopping off to visit Keo Pagoda.

Check-in at your hotel, dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 10: Dinh Le and Bai Dinh Pagoda Temples

Breakfast, then drive off to explore the Tam Coc Caves by sampan boat.

Drive to the Dinh Le Temples and Bai Dinh Pagoda before lunch.

Departure to Mai Chau, and home-stay with a local family.

Dinner, local wine, and authentic dance performance by the White Thai people.

Day 11: Departure to Hue

Breakfast, then enjoy leisurely trek through the valley.

Drive back to Hanoi Airport for your flight to Hue.

Upon arrival at Phy Bai Airport transfer to your hotel, then free time before overnight stay.

Day 12: Hue Imperial City Tour

Departure from hotel at 8:30 to board a Dragon Boat for a cruise along the Perfume River.

First stop: Lady Pagoda, then Thien Mu Pagoda, King Ming Mang's Tomb, and King Tu Duc's Vault.

Lunch at a local restaurant, then continue to Hue Citadel and Dong Ba Market.

Royal-style dinner and overnight stay in Hue.

Day 13: Enter the Lush Phuoc Tich

Head to the ancient village of Phuoc Tich, a national cultural heritage site on the banks of the O Lau River.

Drive to the arched Thanh Toan Bridge, visit a local market and the village museum, then continue to Phu Cam Conical Hat Village

Overnight stay in Hue.

Day 14: Explore the Ancient Quarter

Drive to Hoi An over the Hai Van Pass, stopping off in Danang to visit Cham Museum and handicraft villages at the foot of Marble Mountain.

Half-day walking tour of the Ancient Quarter, including Chua Ong Pagoda, the Chinese Assembly Halls, Tam Ky ancestral house, and the Japanese Bridge.

Overnight stay in Hoi An.

Day 15: Farming And Fishing in Hoi An

Cycle along the country roads with your guide, taking in Vietnam's rural lifestyle.

Board an eco tour boat for a river cruise to meet and greet local fishermen, and try your hand at net fishing.

Have a paddle in a traditional bamboo basket.

Day 16: Cu Lao Cham Island

Hotel pick-up and transfer to Cua Dai Harbour for a morning cruise.

Arrival at Lang Village, where your tour guide will teach you about Cham Island's history.

Visit the Marine Protected Area, the boat shelter, Hai Tang Pagoda, a traditional fishing village and a local market.

20 minutes to Chong Village: swim, snorkel, and prepare for a fresh seafood lunch before heading back to the boat at 14:00.

Cruise back to Cua Dai and spend the rest of your day free.

Day 17: From Da Nang to Da Lat

Early morning domestic flight to Dalat for your city tour, including Bao Dai Palace.

Head to the 'Crazy House,' a brightly painted concrete house complete with winding trees. Optional: visit Truc Lam Thien Vien Pagoda

In the afternoon, take a short train ride on the Cremaillere railway to the village of Tri Mat.

In the evening, enjoy fine cuisine at a local restaurant before an overnight stay in Dalat.

Day 18: Cát Tiên National Park

After breakfast, begin a 4-hour drive south to Nam Cat Tien National Park (185,000 acres of evergreen rainforest).

Arrival at 12:00 and greetings from the park staff who will take you to your lodge resort via electric car.

Check in, then lunch at the restaurant facing the river and jungle.
Walking tour through the jungle to discover the wildlife.

After dinner, a private jeep will take you on an hour-long animal watching expedition before an overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 19: Face the Crocs of Bau Sau

You start your day early, heading to Bau Sau ('Crocodile Lake') by jeep.

Board your boat and sail around the lake, spotting birds, crocodiles, and wild lotus.

Back to the lodge for lunch, before setting off to Ho Chi Minh City at 14:00. 

Arrival at 18:00 where you'll have some free time until your overnight stay.

Day 20: National Biosphere Reserve of Can Gio 

3 hour drive to Can Gio, where upon arrival, you'll head to Monkey Island, situated in the Mangrove Forest (a UNESCO listed site).

Visit Can Gio Museum to learn about the current research on archaeological relics, and wildlife.Canoe to Rung Sac Guerilla Base to spot crocodiles, monkeys, wild cats, otters, deer, and much more! 

Finally, check out the Purebred Crocodile Reserve Park, home to more than 80 crocs!

Return to Ho Chi Ming City for an overnight stay.

Day 21: Ho Chi Minh City Departure

Free day to spend exploring the city before your transfer to the airport for your flight home.
