Day 1: Arrival in Antalya

Arrival at Antalya airport and transfer to your hotel.  

Once settled in at your hotel, you can visit the old quarter and its monuments such as Hadrian Gate, the Fluted Minaret”, Broken Minaret Mosque and Fortified Roman Port .


Day 2: Start your adventure in Termessos

Meet with your driver at the hotel at 9 AM.  Termessos (approximately 34 km far away from Antalya) is well worth visiting. Lost high up in the mountain, the shamble of ruins and fallen columns, the breathtaking view from the amphitheatre and the wildness of it all will take your breath away.  Be ready to climb up a fairly steep path!

After your efforts,  Antalya has a small beach where you can go for a dip. 

Day 3: Epic sceneries on the road to Konya

Departure for Cappadocia, about 5 hours of travelling via Manavgat.
If you leave early enough, you can visit about an hour out of Antalya and on your road,  the antique city of Perge  or at least the impressive Aspendos theatre . This theatre is the most ancient and well preserved example Roman theatres in Anatolia dating from 2nd century A.C.  Until now, shows are still held in this exceptional monument during the Antalya festival.After about 4 hours of driving over the spectacular Taurus mountains, you’ll reach the city of Konya,   known as the city of whirling dervishes and for its outstanding Seljuk architecture. You can see the ceremony in the city, during the whirling dervishes festival (only in December), and also visit the mausoleum of the founder,

Day 4: Ihlara valley and underground city

Today, explore the 14km long and 100 m deep canyon of Ihlara,  carved out by the Melendiz River.  Walking along the river, under the poplar trees and through vegetable gardens, you can admire your very first Cappadocian Byzantine rock churches.

Driving north, you’ll reach  the  underground cities of  Derinkuyu and Kaymakli. Derinkuyu, “Deep well”,  is one of the deepest underground cities of Cappadocia, 8 floors below ground.

Head onto the heart of Cappadocia.  Admire the sunset from the rocky outcrop of Uçhisar with a panoramic view over the whole region.  Overnight in a cave hotel.

Day 5: Cappadocia's Secret Valleys & Churches

Discover the  secret valleys of Cappadocia where you can take a hike and visit the rock carved churches. Visit Goreme open air Museum,  a complex of Byzantine cave churches with colourful frescoes. Visit Zelve open air museum, a cave village abandonned only about 50 years ago. You can also admire the fairy chimneys of Pasabag with their multiple “hats” and visit  the traditional pottery workshops of the village of Avanos. Visit the Greek village of Mustafapasa  with its Greek houses.

Day 6: Cappadocia's Secret Valleys & Churches

With 2 days in the area, there's no need to rush as you explore these incredible creations.

Day 7: Egirdir Lake

Departure for Egirdir, in the lake area in the south-west of Turkey (about 5:5 hours away). Egirdir is a big turquoise lake dominated by the Davraz mountain with a small island, now artifically connected to the mainland, on which there are small family run structures and restaurants serving some of the lake’s fish. If you have time, you can also visit the Candirli Canyon .

Overnight in Isparta, the city of roses.


Day 8: Drive from Egirdir to Ephesus

Departure for Selçuk, near Ephesus.  5:30 hours of travelling.


Day 9: Ephesus: Step Back in Time

One of the highlights of your trip :  Ephesus, the commercial, religious and social Center of Antiquity. The ruins that are visible give some idea of the city's original splendor, and the names associated with the ruins are evocative of its former life.

You can also visit the House of the Virgin Mary, a pilgrimage place as man believes she spent there her last days.


Day 10: Pamukkale: Take a dip in the dream-like cotton cliffs

Departure for Pamukkale. 2:30 hours of travelling.

You can visit the city of Hierapolis which was founded in 2 century BC.

You can also visit Pamukkale (Cotton Castle), is considered today the eighth wonder of the world. It is presumed that the travertines were formed in the course of a process which lasted 15 thousand years.

Overnight in Pamukkale in a thermal hotel.

Day 11: Kas: Turkey's "St Tropez"

Departure for Fethiye, about 4 hours of travelling. Enjoy the blue lagoon of Oludeniz.  Leave your driver at the end of the day.

Day 12: A boat trip to discover Kas’ must-sees

Optional: You  take boat a trip to visit Kekova Bay and its ruins. You can also visit St. Nicholas Church in Demre.

Day 13: Relax on Kas’ beach

Beach day, swimming and relaxing. 


Day 14: Departure

Transfer to Antalya or Dalaman airport for your return flight.
