This itinerary has been crafted by our Local Agency with one idea in mind: to inspire you. Every element can be adapted to your needs and your interests, from duration to accommodation and activities.

Day 1: Arrival in Istanbul

• Upon arrival at Istanbul airport you will be met by our representative
Transfer to your hotel in the historical center of the city (30min)
Free evening to settle in

Day 2: Boat Tour & the Historical Peninsula

• Begin with a combination of boat and walkingtour of the highlights of Istanbul (2h)
• Pass through Hippodrome square, once a sporting and social center of Constantinople
• Explore the Kapali Carsi bazaar, one of the largest and oldest covered markets in the world
• Conclude the day with a traditional cup of Turkish tea, known as cay

Day 3: Canakkale and Ancient Troy

• Leave Istanbul after breakfast and drive towards Gallipoli peninsula (4h)
• Take the ferry and cross over to Canakkale, a small seaport on the southern coast of the Dardanelles
Visit ancient Troy, a UNESCO World Heritage site
• Spend the night in Canakkale


Day 4: Behramkale and Ancient Pergamon

• Drive to Selcuk. On the way visit ancient Behramkale (4h)
• Continue to Bergama and stop by the Acropolis, the Library, Royal palaces, the Temple of Dionysus, the Upper Agora, the Roman baths and the Red Basilica


Day 5: Ayasoluk Hill & Sirince Village

• In the morning we visit Ayasoluk Hill, famous for its traditional Turkish culture and lifestyle
• Stop at the Isa Bey Mosque, the grand fortress and the 6th century Basilica of St. John the Apostle
• Continue to nearby Sirince, a mountaintop village known for wine yards and peach trees
• Enjoy a cup of Turkish tea in a quiet and unique atmosphere. We spend the night in Selcuk

Day 6: Ephesus

• Today we visit the ancient city of Ephesus
• Explore the largest collection of Roman ruins in the eastern Mediterranean
• Continue to your hotel in Pamukkale (3h)


Day 7: Pamukkale Travertine Terraces & Ancient Hierapolis

• Marvel at the cotton white plateaus, pale blue waters of Pamukkale Travertine Terraces
• Head to Hierapolis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, known for hot springs used as a spa since 2nd century BC
• In the afternoon we return to your hotel where the rest of the day is at leisure

Day 8: Fethiye

• Visit the site of Aphrodisias, named after Aphrodite, the Greek goddess of love
• Arrive in Fethiye, once a flourishing city west of Lycia (3h30)
• Explore the old town and the marina area full of charming cafés and beautiful shops


Day 9: Patara and Kas

• Depart Fethiye in the morning and drive to Kayakoy, described by UNESCO as a world friendship and peace village
• Hike up to the ruins of an abandoned Greek village set in a lush valley surrounded by forests
• Continue to the city of Patara. Chill at one of Turkey’s longest beaches
• Continue to Kas (2h), a small pleasant town with narrow streets scented with jasmine flowers

Day 10: Boat Excursion & Simena Castle

• Embark on a boat excursion (3h) to see the ruins on the northern coast of Kekova island and hike up to the Simena castle (3h)
• On the way to Antalya, visit Myra, one of the largest towns of the Lycian alliance
• Arrive in Antalya (3h) and walk through the old city center passing by the Hadrian’s Gate, the Clock Tower, Yivli Minare and Hidirlik Tower

Day 11: Konya & Derinkuyu Underground City

• Drive to Konya to visit the Mevlana museum; the mausoleum of Jalal ad-Din Muhammad Rumi and caravanserai of Sultan Hani
Our last stop, the incredible underground city of Derinkuyu
• In the early evening we arrive in Cappadocia!

Day 12: Discover Cappadocia

A day you will never forget...


• Visit the high viewpoint known as “the fortress”
• Continue to Goreme open air museum; one of the most beautiful valleys in Cappadocia
• Marvel at mind-bending natural formations and colors of the Red Valley and the chimneys of Uc Guzeller

Optional activity: (not really.. you kinda have to..)• Sunrise hot air balloon ride over one of the world's best balloon flight areas!

Day 13: Cappadocia, Pasabaglari Valley & Devrent

• Head to Cavusin village, one of the oldest settlements in Cappadocia
• Continue to Pasabaglari (Monks valley) and be baffled by bizarre fairy chimneys
• Marvel at lunar landscapes of Devrent valley, also known as imagination valley
• Continue to Kas (2h), a small pleasant town with narrow streets scented with jasmine flowers

Optional activities:

Turkish bath (Hamam)
• Learn how to shape pottery at a Pottery workshop in Avanos

Day 14: Departure

• Transfer to Kayseri airport for departure (1h)
• C'mon, be honest.. you got your socks blown off by Turkey!
