We are also committed to working closely with local populations and are sensitive to the environment around us. Sri Lanka offers a lush nature that is important to be preserved. We highlight establishments that have an ecological sensitivity, and providers who seek the welfare of animals and the protection of flora. See more

    Best parts:
Seeing the real Sri Lanka away from the tourist sites and being welcomed by the locals into their every day life e.g. dancing, pottery, sari making and of course meeting the indigenous people. Having our own driver was perfect
    Worst parts:
    It coming to an end!

    Best parts:
We loved Jaffna and the islands, the wetlands were teeming with wildlife and the temples were beautiful. The hotel was excellent as was our guide/driver
    Worst parts:
Our first night accommodation was not the best start to our journey. However we were meant to take a helpicopter but it was cancelled.
    Summary:
We enjoyed the Hindu temple where we were able to see the worship and be blessed and be part of the service. It was very noisy and colourful. We liked the fact that there were hardly any other tourist...We enjoyed the Hindu temple where we were able to see the worship and be blessed and be part of the service. We are happy that we got the change to part of your second trip to Sri Lanka. We are glad you appreciated a different aspect of the country, as the Northern part of the Island, although it has undergone much suffering, it has found a way to let out the beautiful colours and be lively again. We hope to welcome you back again to explore the many off the beaten path locations that will take your breath away. Thank you from the entireTeam! Best regards, SonaliSee more
