Customizable tour itinerary

This tour idea is fully customizable

This itinerary has been crafted by our Local Agency with one idea in mind: to inspire you. Every element can be adapted to your needs and your interests, from duration to accommodation and activities.

Day 1: Welcome to South Africa

Upon arrival at Cape Town international Airport, you will be met by an English speaking representative who will assist with the fast track customs & immigrations, baggage collection and hand over to the driver in the Arrivals Hall.

Private road transfer with an English speaking driver from the Cape Town International Airport to the Table Bay Hotel.

Under the watchful eye of Table Mountain and with a front-row seat to the V&A Waterfront and harbour, Table Bay Hotel is the perfect base for travellers desiring unending views of the Atlantic Ocean served alongside a backdrop of one of the 7 Wonders of Nature. With all the city’s attractions a stone’s throw away, what more reason does one need to stay at Table Bay?
The V&A Waterfront is on your doorstep and the City Bowl is in your backyard. Sun-worshippers can enjoy a sail to Camps Bay on a yacht where you will anchor for the day, while history buffs may prefer to take a ferry to Robben Island where Nelson Mandela was incarcerated before his release and triumph as the Rainbow Nation’s first democratic president. Otherwise, opt to be pampered at the Camelot Spa or make use of the well-equipped on-site gym.

Day 2: Cape Town, Peninsula tour

After Breakfast, depart with the English speaking guide on a full day private tour of the Cape Peninsula. Lunch & entrance fees included for Hout Bay – Seal Island Cruise, Chapmans Peak drive, Cape Point Nature Reserve & Boulders Beach Penguins.

The Full day Cape Point Tour begins with a scenic drive along the Atlantic Seaboard passing through the picturesque Clifton Beach and Camps Bay with their white sand beaches and sparkling blue water. The first stop is in Hout Bay village at the harbour for a cruise to seal island, home to thousands of Cape Fur Seals and hundreds of sea birds including the uncommon Bank Cormorants.

There’s a craft market to explore briefly before continuing onto Cape Point, travelling over Chapman’s Peak, as it winds its way between Noordhoek and Hout Bay, along the Atlantic Coast, on the south-western tip of South Africa making it one of the most spectacular marine drives in the world.

The Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve so named by Portugal's King John II, is a narrow stretch of land, dotted with beautiful valleys, bays and beaches, and it contains a mix of extraordinarily diverse and unique fauna and flora. Explore the lighthouse - access to this historical building can be done either by a walk or by an exhilarating 3 minute ride in the Flying Dutchman funicular (paid directly) that transfers visitors from the lower station at 127 metres above sea level, to the upper station at 286 metres above sea level.

Next is a well-deserved lunch stop in the naval base of Simons Town - the restaurant is a spectacular venue on the water’s edge with views of mountains and sea. After lunch, you will visit Boulders Beach with its 3 boardwalks leading to view the Jackass penguins. The Boulders Penguin Colony in Simons Town is home to a unique and endangered land-based colony of African Penguins.

Followed by a walk around the historical town of Paarl, we depart for our first wine tasting and cellar tour at Haute Cabriere Wine Estate, outside Franschoek, a quaint area known for its wine and French influence, and where the Huguenots settled in 1688 bringing with them grape varietals such as Merlot, Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon.
