Day 1: Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport

Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport at Kathmandu. Here you will meet our representative, who will assist with your transfer to the hotel. Welcome drinks on arrival and briefing of tour program by one of our representatives.

Day 2: Sightseeing at Bouddhanath

After breakfast, start a full day of sightseeing at UNESCO heritage sites. Visit Bouddhanath, one of the holiest Buddhist pilgrimage sites in the world. You will also visit Patan Durbar Square, which is a distinct place for arts and architecture. Here you can see temples, monuments and palaces built during the Malla period between 16th, 17th and 18th centuries. Enjoy the view of Kathmandu from Syambhunath, a monkey temple above the valley. The rest of the day is free for you to explore!

Day 3: Peaceful and magical Phewa Lake

After breakfast we will drive to Pokhara. It is around 6-7 hours drive from Kathmandu. Pokhara is a remarkable place of natural beauty, situated at an altitude of 900m. This enchanting town has several beautiful lakes and offers stunning panoramic views of Himalayan peaks. We will check into the hotel. In the evening, enjoy a stroll along the banks of Phewa Lake, admiring the stunning reflection of the Fish Tail Peak in the blue waters.

Day 4: Boating and the World Peace Pagoda

Early in the morning we will take an excursion to Sarangkot Hill, for a view of the stunning sunrise over Mt. Machhapuchhre, Dhaulagiri and Annapurna Massif (weather permitting). We will return to hotel for breakfast. Today, we will visit Bindhyabasini Temple, Gupteshower Cave, popular for the different natural forms made from limestone deposits, and Devi’s Fall, which comes gushing out just before disappearing underground. Later, we have the chance to go boating on Phewa Lake and hike to the World Peace Pagoda. Enjoy the beautiful view of Pokhara city and the Himalayas from Stupa.

Day 5: Cultural program by local tribe

After breakfast, we will drive to Chitwan, which is 150 km away. The journey takes us along winding roads to the banks of the Trishuli River. After checking into the hotel, you will be briefed about the programme over the next few days. There will then be a guided village walk and a walk along the banks of the Rapti River, which offers a chance to see the spectacular sunset in the sub-tropical jungle. In the evening, dinner is accompanied by a performance from a local tribe, featuring a silk dance and tribal drums.

Pokhara Chitwan

Day 6: Nature and elephants

Wake up call with a cup of hot tea/coffee. Today we will visit the elephant breeding centre to see baby elephants, and we can go for canoe ride along the Rapti River. This is an excellent opportunity for bird watching and for seeing two rare species of crocodiles; the Marsh Mugger and the fish-eating Gharial. The next activity is a nature walk, with very diverse flora and fauna to discover. Before lunch you will have the opportunity to relax for a while and take in your surroundings. After lunch you have an elephant safari, an excellent opportunity to see deer, rhinoceros, monkeys, leopards, sloth bears, and the Royal Bengal Tiger. You will also encounter many other smaller mammals that have made Chitwan their home. In the evening, enjoy an introduction to the background and history of the Chitwan National Park from one of our jungle experts.

Day 7: Back to Kathmandu

Today we will head back to Kathmandu, a journey of around 5-6 hours, and we will check into the hotel. Why not take a stroll around the city in the evening?

Day 8: Departure day

Approximately 3 hours before your scheduled flight our representative will transfer you to the airport for final departure to your home country.
