Day 1: Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport 

Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport at Kathmandu, where you will meet our representative and be transferred to the hotel. Welcome drinks on arrival and briefing of tour program.

Day 2: Sightseeing at Boudhanath

After breakfast, start a full day of sightseeing at UNESCO heritage sites. Visit Bouddhanath, one of the holiest Buddhist pilgrimage sites, and Pashupatinath Temple on the banks of the Bagmati River. This "extensive Hindu temple precinct" is a sprawling collection of temples, ashrams, images and inscriptions raised over the centuries. You will also visit Patan Durbar Square, which is a distinct place for arts and architecture. Here you can see temples, monuments and palaces built during the Malla period between 16th, 17th and 18th centuries. The rest of the day is free for you to explore!

Day 3: The Newar Cultural Village of Bandipur

Today we will drive to Bandipur, which is 148 km away and around 5-6 hrs drive from Kathmandu. Bandipur is the Newar Cultural Village situated on a ridge above the highway town of Dumre. It offers sightseers a mix of history, architecture, incredible views, awesome caves and unspoiled landscapes. There are stunning views of a beautiful chain of mountains, including Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhre, Langtang, Manaslu and Ganesh Himal from Tundikhel.

Day 4: Panoramic views of Himalayan peaks

We will explore Bandipur village in the morning. Afterwards, we will drive to Pokhara. Pokhara is a remarkable place of natural beauty, situated at an altitude of 900m. This enchanting town has several beautiful lakes and offers stunning panoramic views of Himalayan peaks. We will check into the hotel. After some rest and refreshments, we will start a half day of sightseeing. We will visit Bindhyabasini Temple, Gupteshower Cave, popular for the different natural forms made from limestone deposits, and Devi’s Fall, which comes gushing out just before disappearing underground. In the evening, enjoy a stroll along the banks of Phewa Lake, admiring the stunning reflection of the Fish Tail Peak in the blue waters.

Day 5: Breathtaking view from Dhampus 

After breakfast we will drive to Phedi (45mins) and from there we will start our walk towards Dhampus village (3 to 4hrs). This village offers a close up view of Annapurna and many other mountains. Aside from breathtaking views, Dhampus also offers an opportunity to experience Nepalese countryside, observe the daily life of villagers, and see them work in fields or farms. You can spend the rest of the day enjoying the views from Dhampus and exploring the village.

Day 6: Australian Camp to Naudada

We will walk for around an hour to Australian Camp at the centre of the Dhampus Jungle. From here, there are awesome views of the jungle and mountains such as Annapurna South, Fishtial, Mt Dhaulagiri, Tukuche peak, Dhampus Peak, Nilgiri and Himchuli. After lunch at Australian Camp, we will trek to Naudada (Nine Hills).

Day 7: Hiking to World Peace Pagoda

Early in the morning you can enjoy a sunrise view over the western Himalayas. After breakfast, we will drive back to Pokhara and check into the hotel. Later, you can enjoy boating at Phewa Lake and a short hike to the World Peace Pagoda. Enjoy the beautiful view of Pokhara city and the Himalayas from Stupa.

Day 8: The birth place of Buddha

After breakfast we will drive to Lumbini, which takes around 6-7 hours. Lumbini is the birth place of Lord Buddha, the founder of Buddhism, known as Buddha or the 'Enlightened One'. If we arrive in time, we can take a stroll around the local market for a glimpse of the local way of life.

Day 9: Exploring Lumbini 

We will visit the Mayadevi temple, built on the spot where Buddha was born, and spend some time wandering around the gardens and visiting the museum and Peace Pagoda. We will also visit the many types of Buddhist temples, including Tibetan, Chinese, Japanese and Burmese and Korean, and the many monasteries, including the Chinese Monastery, the Korean Monastery, the Royal Thai Monastery, the Ashoka Pillar and the Myanmar Monastery.

Day 10: Sunset views

After breakfast we will drive to Chitwan, around 4 hours away. After checking in to the hotel you will be briefed about the activities over the next few days. There will then be a guided village walk and a walk along the banks of the Rapti River, which offers a chance to see the spectacular sunset in the sub-tropical jungle. In the evening, dinner is accompanied by a performance from a local tribe, featuring a silk dance and tribal drums.

Day 11: Elephants and nature

Wake up call with a cup of hot tea/coffee. Today we will visit the elephant breeding centre to see baby elephants, and we can go for canoe ride along the Rapti River. This is an excellent opportunity for bird watching and for seeing two rare species of crocodiles; the Marsh Mugger and the fish-eating Gharial. The next activity is a nature walk, with very diverse flora and fauna to discover. Before lunch you will have the opportunity to relax for a while and take in your surroundings. After lunch you have an elephant safari, an excellent opportunity to see deer, rhinoceros, monkeys, leopards, sloth bears, and the Royal Bengal Tiger. You will also encounter many other smaller mammals that have made Chitwan their home. In the evening, enjoy an introduction to the background and history of the Chitwan National Park from one of our jungle experts.

Day 12: Rickshaw ride at traditional markets

After breakfast we will drive back to Kathmandu for around 6 hours, and check into the hotel. You will be offered refreshments when we arrive. In the evening, we will hire a rickshaw and ride to the traditional old bazaar area around Ason and  Indrachowk.

Day 13: Bhaktapur Durbar Square

Today we will drive to Nagarkot, around 1 and ½ hours away, and we will stop of at Bhaktapur on the way. Bhaktapur is a unique old town divided into 24 traditional localities. It is also famous by the name ‘city of devotees’, as the landmark has a great influence on religion and culture in the region. The beautifully designed Bhaktapur Durbar Square is the main attraction with its rich cultural heritage. Overnight at Nagarkot, where there are magnificent views of the major Eastern Himalayan mountains, including Mt. Everest (if weather permits).

Day 14: Early sunrise and farewell dinner

Early in the morning we will enjoy the spectacular and unforgettable sunrise over the mountains. After breakfast, we will drive back to Kathmandu. In the evening, we will enjoy a typical Nepali Dinner with a cultural show.
