Attending the festival, you will not only see the three manly sports of horse racing, archery, and wrestling but also learn from Mongolian history, tradition, culture and clothing, traditional meals as well as cultural heritage. Day 1: Arrival in Ulaanbaatar, city tour

• Transfer from airport to hotel.

 After refreshment, we will visit Gandan Monastery to learn about Tibetan Buddhism of Mongolia and national museum about Mongolian history.

 Visit the main square and watch traditional concert of folk dance and music. Feast on

 Mongolian traditional meal for dinner.

 Stay overnight in hotel. 

Cultural site : Visit prayer’s temple with 26.5 m indoor statue of Avalokitesvara and other temples. Watch folk dance and music, contortion as well as mask dance.

Historical site
: Visit national museum. Walk along the main square and visit Sukhbaatar and Chinggis khan statue.

: Gandan monastery for an hour, National museum for 2 hours, Main square for 30 minutes, Concert for 70 minutes.

Day 2: Terelj national park and Ariyabal meditation center

 This morning your travel guide will pick you up from the hotel and drive to the eastern Mongolia. Here you will see, among other things, the Chinggis khan statue; the largest Equestrian Statue. 

 Leaving the statue, we will take a scenic driving through alpine magnificent mountain and arrive in a nomad family.

 Enjoy a home cooked traditional meal for lunch.

 Time to saddle on a Mongolian pony horse and have a breathtaking time riding through the thick forest of Siberian pine trees and over the mountain.

 Further, discover the national park with a visit to the iconic Turtle rock and Buddhist Meditation center in the mountainside.

 Explore the center with a stunning hike from crossing the short trail bridge to 108 stairs.

 Stay overnight in tourist Ger camp.

Horseback riding : Ride for an hour through forest and mountain. 

Hiking : Hike to the Ariyabal meditation temple uphill for 30-40 minutes.

Day 3: Baga Gazryn Chuluu, magical granite formation 

 Head to middle Gobi where Baga Gazryn chuluu, unique collection of granite stone massif that stretches 15 kilometers long and 10 kilometers wide.

 Upon arrival in Baga Gazryn chuluu, visit highlights of the park such as the ruins of the temple and eye springs.

 Today we have a home stay in a hospitable nomad family living in steppe zone and truly immerse with nomadic culture and savor traditional Mongolian meal for dinner.

 Experience milking goat and rounding up livestocks. Learn to make Mongolian dumplings and milk tea with host family.

 Stay overnight in a private guest Ger. 

Hiking : Hike uphill on granite rock for 30-40 minutes. 

: Prepare dumplings and cook milk tea.  
Board : Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. 

Accommodation: Nomad Family’s Guest Ger.

Baga Gazryn

Day 4: Explore Limestone cliff Tsagaan Suvarga 

 Journey through Tsagaan Suvarga, an area full of 30m high white limestone formations, and feast the eyes on the mind-blowing colors of the desert floor below.

 Visit the cliff and take photos. Overnight in tourist Ger camp. 

Hiking : Hike through the cliff for 40 minutes. 

Board : Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 5: Hiking in the Ice valley

 After breakfast, we will head to Ice valley with cool gorgeous streams and glacier in the Gobi desert. Once we settled in our tourist camp, we will have lunch.

 Then, time to hike in the vulture valley following the stream that ends up at an ice-filled gorge. 

 During the hike we will visit a small museum displaying a collection of dinosaur eggs, bones and exotic stuffed animals.

 Stay overnight in tourist Ger camp camp.

Hiking : Hike in ice valley for 1.5 to 2 hours. 

Board : Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 6: Explore Khongor sand dune 

 This morning, we will travel to Khongor Sand dune; well known as Singing Dunes because of its pouring sand dune effect as plane when it is windy. The Khongor sand dune is one of the largest dune in Mongolia. 

 Visit oasis at the foot of the sand dune and...

 ....ride a camel for an hour near the sand dune.

 Overnight in tourist Ger camp.

Climb to the dune and see sunset : Climb for 40 minutes and stay for sunset.

Day 7: Discover the Flaming Cliff, land of dinosaur

 Today we visit the Flaming Cliff area, which is renowned for its history of dinosaur findings and amazing landscapes.

 We will have lunch in tourist Ger camp near Flaming cliff.

 After refreshment, we will do hiking for excursion in Flaming cliffs which lies from the south to the north 8 km long and 5 km width.

 After the hike, we will enjoy our leisure time until seeing the incredible sun setting over the Flaming Cliff area that turns its colors literally into a flaming cliff.

 Stay overnight in tourist Ger camp.

Hiking : Hike to Flaming cliff for 50-60 minutes. 

Board : Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 8: Spiritual hiking through the ruin of Buddhist monastery 

 Travel to the heart of the desert today and to the Ongi monastery, one of the largest Buddhist temples in south Gobi. 

 Ongi was built in 17th century and became a home to over 1,000 monks. However, it was ruined during political repression. Today the ruin of Ongi Temple lies on the bank of the Ongi River; the only river to the Gobi Desert. We will walk through the ruins and visit a restored temple.

 Stay overnight in tourist Ger camp (2 people share Yurt with single beds, shower/bathroom in a separate building). 

Hiking : Hike to visit ruin of Ongi and Buddha on the top of hill for 2 hours. 

Board : Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 9: Visit Orkhon valley – UNESCO heritage

 Leaving the middle Gobi, we will drive north to Orkhon valley; the UNESCO world heritage site.

• We will visit a beautiful 24 meters high waterfall formed by volcanic activity. Here, optional horse riding and hiking are offered.

 Visit a yak herder family living near the waterfall area and discover nomadic way of life by helping with their daily activities such as milking cows and rounding up herds.

 Mongolian home cooked meal will be offered for dinner.

 Stay overnight in private Ger next to them. 

: Hike around the Orkhon waterfall for 30-40 minutes. 

Board : Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 10: Traverse Karakorum ruin and Erdenezuu monastery

 Time to travel to Karakorum; a former capital of 13th century Mongolian Empire. Today Kharkhorin is a agricultural town with many tourist attractions.

 Visit Kharakhorum museum presenting mind-blowing archeological findings dated back to Stone Age, Bronze Age and 13th century.

 Move on to the Erdenezuu; the first Buddhist Monastery built from the ruins of Kharakhorum in 16th century, but ruined under political repression.

 The prayer’s and ceremonial temples are true architectural wonder preserving Mongolian Buddhist heritage.

 Overnight in tourist Ger camp.

Cultural site : Visit Erdenezuu monastery. Learn history of Mongolia, Karakorum museum for 2 hours. Visit walls of great empires. Walk around the three walls for 20 minutes.

Day 11: Wild horse park Khustai (390km – 7 hours)

• Today we travel to the wilderness amusement of Khustain National Park near Ulaanbaatar city.

• This is one of the few places in the world that you can see total about 400 wild horses adopting the re-introduced landscapes and wildlife.

• Leaving the park, we will drive to Ulaanbaatar and transfer to the hotel. 

Hiking : Hike to spot wild horses, Hike is easy and for 1 to 2 hours. 

Cultural site : Visit Ungut monument, Visit for 30 minutes. 

Board : Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 12: Enjoy the Naadam festival

 This morning we will visit the Main Square where the Naadam festival is hold. You will see things such as wrestling & archery.

 After lunch, we leave the city to see horse racing in Khui Doloon Hudag.

 You will then be transferred to the hotel. 

Cultural sightseeing : Watch wrestling, archery and horse race for 4 hours. 

Board : Breakfast and Lunch.

Day 13: Departure

• Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to the airport / train for departure.
