Days 2 to 3: Elephant Gorge Camp, Amboseli National Park

Today morning after your lovely breakfast you will depart for Amboseli via Mombasa Road/A109 C102 and drive for 4 h 8 min (215.6 km) to arrive at the lodge in time for afternoon Lunch.  Spend two days in Amboseli:- The mornings are great for viewing  Mt Kilimanjaro peering through the clouds on clear mornings.  You can spend the day viewing the game as they cross the plains from the veranda of your room or from the deck at the main area.  Amboseli belongs in the elite of Kenya’s national parks, and it’s easy to see why. Its signature attraction is the sight of hundreds of big-tusked elephants set against the backdrop of Africa’s best views of Mt Kilimanjaro (5895m).

Africa’s highest peak broods over the southern boundary of the park, and while cloud cover can render the mountain’s massive bulk invisible for much of the day, you’ll be rewarded with stunning vistas when the weather clears, usually at dawn and/or dusk. Apart from guaranteed elephant sightings, you’ll also see wildebeest and zebras, and you’ve a reasonable chance of spotting lions, cheetahs and hyenas. The park is also home to over 370 bird species, and it has an excellent array of lodges and an agreeably mild, dry climate. Dinner and overnight.

The lake yields an enchanting panorama of the Great Rift Valley. On the southern edge of the lake is Kekopey hot springs; which the Tilapia grahami breed. The springs are very popular for bathing. The local Masai's claim that it can cure many diseases. This lake has about 400 species of birds. Arrive for lunch at the Lodge. Days 6 to 7: Instinct of the Mara , Masai Mara

After your morning breakfast you shall  depart for the Masai Mara and drive for another 3hours to arrive at the camp in time for lunch. Check in and enjoy your afternoon meal.

You have the next two days to enjoy your morning and afternoon game drives and engage in other  range of activities.  Game drives are recommended early in the morning and the afternoon then it's cool and animals are most active. The game drives will bring you  close to the wildlife  in their natural habitat.  Sometimes their behaviour will make  the hair on the back of your neck  stand, Kenyan Safaris will simply leave you amazed.  The mid- mornings can be spent in optional activities.   You can opt to visit the Masai Manyatta for an experience of untainted culture or go out on guided walking safari.  If you're adventurers early in the morning you can opt for a bird's eye view. A balloon safaris will give you the most gorgeous bird’s eye view of the wildlife riddled plains that will culminate with a champagne bush breakfast. ( all at an extra cost).

From July to October we have the yearly wildebeest migration.  Imagine over 2 million animals moving from one national park to another in search of greener pastures. The Great Wildebeest Migration which takes place between Serengeti in Tanzania and Maasai Mara in Kenya has been dubbed one of the “7 New Wonders of the World”. This is a sight to behold. And where else can you see this other than in the Maasai Mara in Kenya?
