The best parts:
The enormous variety was very impressive and enjoyable - Ubud rafting, Gili Meno (Mahamaya resort and snorkelling/diving), Pemuteran snorkelling- great accommodation at Amerthea villas, Bromo, Ijen volcano hikes, Borobudur and Premanbanan temples, Komodo National Park and lastly surfing in Semjnyak!!
The worst parts:
Too much travelling - long car journeys - would have been useful to have been told transfer times to help plan trip better. Busy traffic in South Bali

Overall we really enjoyed our time in Indonesia. The level of hospitality was excellent and the tour was very well organized and structured. We had an excellent balance of adventure and relaxation.
The best parts:
Our driver was great, very friendly and willing to go above and beyond. Daily transportation was comfortable and reliable. Hotel in Ubud was amazing. Hotel in Lombok was beautiful, incredible staff and amenities. Local tours such as Sidemen guided trek was fun and interesting Tour was well organized and easy to follow
The worst parts:
Hotel in Jimbaran was not great. Shower did not work and facilities were old. We did not receive our Balinese blessing in Umabian and our guided bike ride was shorter than scheduled.

The trip was perfectly planned and executed like a dream. Djoko has a great team in country and we couldn't have asked for a better guide and driver for our trip in Bali.
The best parts:
Bali tour, Komodo Dragons and Bat island.
The worst parts:
The quality of the boat accommodation could have been better.

As I already said we really enjoyed the trip whatsoever and I reckon that the best moments were when we visited Komodo Island and had the opportunity to do a snorkelling session in the ocean. We saw a turtle and a lot of corals, that was not only the best part of the trip but the best experience of my life
The best parts:
We visited a lot of beautiful places, the guide who accompanied us was very prepared and gentle.
The worst parts:
There were too many activities too close to each other. For example it would have made more sense to stop one day and rest at the hotel after the snorkelling session in Menjangan Island, rather than going straight away to Java for the trekking of Ijen which was at night. That was very tiring and it could have been better planned

Asking friends and my kids. We started to do some research and identified where wee wanted to go. We went to five different spots-staying about 3 nights in each place. Probably in hindsight we shoudl have given a little more time to the fact that you keep having to go back to Bali to get to the next island. We might have planned that better so that we spend less time circling back. As well, we could have gone to Gili for a day from Lombok had we realised how close Gili was to Lombok. Looking back I would have witched up the order a bit. Biggest highlight was hiking in Papua. It was so unique. Having said that it was hard and the trekking was not easy. We probably should have been a bit mroe preared for that portion.
The best parts:
The variety of different places that we went. We felt like we went on five different trips. Each island was so unique. The people were fabulous and the country was beautiful. Our hotels were beautiful and a lovely place to rest after touring.
The worst parts:
We did not like Gili island. That was no faulty of your organisation-it was our choice-and it was a bad one. The boat ride to and from was horrific and the island was not any special for us.

Dear Joanne and Rick, We are so happy to hear that your trip to Indonesia was all that you expected, with the exception of the Gili Island. Your feedback is important to Evaneos and to any future travelers, we thank you for providing your honest testimonial. Best regards, Philip

It was our second trip to Indonesia (earlier one was in 2005). This time we concentrated on the history and culture of the land. The Hindu culture and architecture that permeate Java and Bali were very fascinating and we spent quite some time exploring many of the Hindu temples. Borobudur at sunrise was magnificent, but Mount Bromo at sunrise was not as great as it was hyped to be, perhaps because we did not have the best vantage point. Even at 3am it had become crowded by people waiting for sunrise! The trip to Komodo island was really worth it. We enjoyed Bali, too, but it has become overcrowded with tourists (like it has been for many years), more like some parts of Thailand. Still it has its own unique Balinese culture. The other big surprise was Indonesian food, one of the best we have tasted in our travels. Above all, the hospitality and friendliness of Indonesians was amazing. A trip that we will remember for a very long time to come.
The best parts:
The trip was absolutely fabulous, my wife and I enjoyed it immensely. It was incredibly well organised, especially in Java, Kalimantan and Komodo island. The guide in Java was especially friendly, polite, courteous and deeply knowledgeable. The entire 5-person crew during our cruise along the Sekonyer river in Kalimantan were equally wonderful people. Best bits? Borobudur Temple, Komodo dragon, orang utans, and Indonesian food.
The worst parts:
Nothing.

Totally, the trip was awesome, as a honeymooners it certainely would be,the driver was so kindly, the car was in a very good condition, Indonesians are a very kind people, It was only that coward who sold me a SIM card with 30 $ . The hotels were great, only Villa Sonia at Ubud had a very weak WIFI signal in the room, Villa agung Seminyak , the crew weren't that kind especially the receptionist, may be because we were there for only one day. One last thing, I recommend for honeymooners Ubud and Seminyak more than Kuta, as we spent 3 days in Kuta which wasn't a right decision as it was so crowdy.
The best parts:
I liked the well organized program which was done by Local agent Xavier, the most amazing thing in the holiday was Karangasem Rafting.
The worst parts:
Two things, The first was not including a private swimming pool at any of the four hotels I've checked in, although I informed the local agent by that I was in my honeymoon, though! Second, Lack of nature and wildlife activities included in the program, I mean I was in Bali along 10 days without visiting any jungle or birdwatching spots which was found around the island and nearby the accomodation with low budget as well.

This was a very intense trip lasting 18 days. We suggested our wishes and Xavier put together the itinerary. We visited Tanjung Pting National Park to see orang utans, Jogyakarta, Surabaya, Mount Bromo, Toraja country, Labuan Bajo, Komodo National parks, the Liang Bua cave in Flores and Bali. The itinerary was superbly coordinated for us to see the sites we wanted, with qualified drivers and guides throughout the trip. We saw many temples, places of natural beauty, a local market, a Toraja funeral ceremony, a music festival and so much more.
The best parts:
A truly tailor-made holiday to our specifications. Carefully thought out itinerary, flights and connections and high quality accommodation. We were always met at airports and dropped off in time as scheduled by courteous and professional staff. The sightseeing was incredible and just enough time devoted to each destination. The itinerary was clear and easy to follow. We always felt safe and were able to contact Xavier with any questions before and during the trip. Xavier met us in Bali to ensure that our trip was going well. This was a very luxurious holiday with specific requests made by us which was a smooth and action-packed trip of a lifetime. It is evident that much careful planning and coordination was done to ensure our comfort, safety and enjoyment.
The worst parts:
Nothing at all. All the administration was professional and we had no hiccups or problems at any part of our journey.

A sixteen day trip, starting in Jakarta where we met up with our son who lives there, a river boat rip through the rainforest in Kalimantan, a tourney across the Dieng Plateau on Java to Yogyakarta with its bustling streets and temples on the outskirts, north by train towards the volcanoes of Mt Bromo and the famous sunrises, on through gardens of exotic flora and ferry to Bali, where we met our guides family in their rice fields and finishing with a few days relaxing by the Indian Ocean.
The best parts:
The sights, smells, sounds and the people on our travels, by various means of transport, through Kalimantan, Java and Bali.
The worst parts:
My wife disliked the public toilets where she had to take off her shoes and I wasn't keen on the jackfruit jam one morning for breakfast in Yogyakarta and the number of caged birds.
