Day 1: Welcome to Iceland!

Day 2: The Snæfellsnes peninsula

Pick up your rental car and hit the road!

• Visit the Hraunfossar waterfalls coming from beneath a lava field

• Next up, Deildartunguhver hot springs

• Continue to Langjökull glacier and explore the man-made ice tunnel and ice caves

• Finish the first day in Snæfellsnes

Day 3: Four stones of Búðir & Mount Kirkjufell

• Explore  Sönghellir cave and Hellnar Cove

• Stop for lunch at Hellnar café

• Visit the famous black church – Búðir and test your strength on the four stones of Djúpalónssandur

• Continue to the small towns Ólafsvik and Grundarfjörður, and famous cone shaped Mount Kirkjufell

• Taste a local delicacy, rotten shark meat at Bjarnarhofn shark museum

• End up in Stykkishólmur, gateway to Breiðafjörður islands

Day 4: The Golden Circle route

• Head south to Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site

• Stop at Glymur waterfall on the way to the park

• Continue to Gullfoss waterfallone of 10 most beautiful waterfalls in the world!

• Final stop of the day, a stunning volcanic crater, Kerið

• Overnight in the Hella/ Hvolsvöllur area


Day 5: The South coast

• Drive along the beautiful south coast of Iceland

• Start with the Seljalandsfoss waterfall. Walk behind the fall for a unique perspective

• Next is the 60 meter high waterfall, Skógafoss

• Observe reconstructed turf houses at the Skógar Folk museum

• Continue to Dyrhólaey and Reynisfjara black sand beach

• Overnight in the area of Vík

Day 6: Glacial lagoons

• Head to the Foss á Síðu waterfall and enjoy a hike in Skaftafell

• Witness the impressive floating icebergs at Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon

• Continue to the village of Höfn - the lobster capital of Iceland

• Enjoy a luxurious lobster dinner at one of Höfn’s gourmet lobster restaurants


Day 7: Birding & horse riding

• From Höfn, turn back and drive towards Reykjavik

• Visit Ingolfshöfði, where you can join a guided bird watching tour

• In Kirkjubæjarklaustur, check out Systrafoss, a beautiful waterfall in the middle of the village

• Pass through Eldhraun, one of Iceland's largest lava fields

• For more stunning sights, explore Fjarðárgljúfur canyon

• Later, tame Icelandic horses on a horseback riding tour

• Overnight in Hvolsvöllur

Day 8: Blue lagoon & mud pools

• Relax in the unique Blue Lagoon (reservation required)

• Head for the Reykjanes peninsula; an active geothermal area

• Check out the boiling mud pools in Seltún

• Stand on the 'Bridge between the Continents'

Return the rental car and continue to your hotel in Reykjavik

• In the evening, enjoy a nice dinner in one of the city's many gourmet restaurants


Day 9: Departure day! 

• You will transfer to Keflavík International Airport by bus or our private driver
