Day 1: Welcome to Iceland!

Arrival in Reykjavik... 

• Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel in Reykjavik

• It's possible to stop at the Blue Lagoon before continuing to the capital (reservation required)

• Enjoy free time for the remainder of the evening

Day 2: Gullfoss waterfall

• Grab the keys to the rental car and start driving east towards Þingvellir National Park

• Explore the Geyser geothermal fields

• Nearby you’ll find Gullfossone of 10 most beautiful waterfalls of the world

• Stop at Kerið, a volcanic crater filled with crystal clear water

Day 3: The Northern Lights

• Just after Hvolsvöllur, discover Seljalandsfoss waterfall, partly frozen during winter, and a stunning sight year round

• Continue to Skógar to the photogenic Skógafoss waterfall

• Visit the Skógar Folk museum

• Next up, the Mýrdalsjökull glacier. Glacier hiking and / or snowmobiling with professional guides are great optional activities

• Overnight in Kirkjubæjarklaustur

• In the evening, don't forget to look up in search for the Northern Lights!


Day 4: Jökulsarlon glacier lagoon

• Continue along the coast to Skaftafell to explore the black sand beach

• We also recommend a light hike to Svartifoss waterfall

• Proceed to the village of Höfn – the lobster capital of Iceland

•  En route to Höfn you will find unmissable Jökulsárlón glacial lagoon

Return to Kirkjubæjarklaustur


Day 5: Dramatic beaches and cliffs

• While heading back to Reykjavik make a stop at the village of Vík

 Go for a stroll along the Reynisfjara beach with its beautiful view of the Reynisdrangar cliffs

• Once in Reykjavik, drop off the rental car, then proceed to the hotel

Day 6: Day at leisure in Reykjavik

• Enjoy a free day in the capital

• Perhaps, visit Reykjavik’s art and culture museums

• Or, stroll by Hallgrímskirkja church and the Sun Voyager sculpture

• If you're craving another scenic drive, we can arrange for an exciting super jeep tour

• In the evening, sample Reykjavík's gourmet restaurant offerings

Day 7: Departure day!

• If your flight is in the afternoon, you still have time to stop at Blue Lagoon and enjoy a revitilizing soak
